Cool Strong Startup - Unique Business - 23 Yrs Old

Hi - My name is Justin and I am a 23 year old small business owner. I caught the entrepreneur bug while taking business classes in college. Starting a business is the only option for my future, for I refuse to make money for the man and be a corporate bug.

Anyways, I am looking for some general feedback and also trying to generate interest in my online ordering business, Foodpatio LLC. I started this company when I was 20 and have really experienced some success recently.

We offer online ordering solutions for restaurants. We serve over 18 clients and are currently expanding.

You can check out our site at Foodpatio: Order Online and our most recent client's site at Wheat State Pizza | Welcome

Being young, it can sometimes be difficult to find quality resources. I am so happy I found this site and am able to meet like minded people.

Please feel free to leave feedback about the company and to ask any questions.

We are also looking to hire

Wheat State Pizza | Welcome

Thanks - Justin

Justin ,

I've had the same idea for years and never got around to implementing it. Congrats on taking it to the next level and getting some customers on-board.

Good Luck!
Chris.

I have seen similar businesses come and go in mostly large metropolitan areas. I wish you all the luck with your business endeavor!

I have a few points to bring up about your site that I wanted to point out. I visited your site around noon eastern time and noticed that when I clicked on the "Restaurants" button nothing happened. One thing that I learned when I had a start-up of my own is that when doing a business that is completely virtual, if your website doesn't work properly people start to have their doubts as to whether you will do a suitable job for them or not.

I'm assuming that the "Restaurant" button shows the businesses that you service and am not sure what else it shows on the page, but the addition of customer testimonials would also do wonders for your business also. Although you claim that your business would add revenue to their business, the claim might seem empty to potential customers without actual customers of yours backing up the claim.

How are you advertising your business? Many businesses are going to ask you this question as they want to make sure that when they sign up for your service that advertising for this service isn't going to be done solely by them. Some steps that you might want to take as far as advertising is creating pamphlets and handing them out at local college campuses or in local business centers. This can be done for a relatively low cost by making copies on colored paper at your local Staples or other copying center. If you want to go all out you can create full color postcards or brochures by using creating an advertisement in Photoshop or other graphic program and then sending it to print at places like Overnight Prints.

I'm just trying to provide you with some helpful hints that have been learned by friends of mine that ran a similar business to your a few years back before they sold it. My comments are just based upon what I saw on your website as I am not fully aware of the way you are doing advertising and client outreach. I have a lot more helpful ideas and hints if you want to know but didn't want to throw a lot at you at once with the idea that I'm trying to tell you how to run your business. As I have said before, I wish you all the luck with your business and hope it grows into they type of business you hope for.

Jeff
