    Young South African Entrepreneur

    Hi guys,

My name is Yandisa Mtyide and a very young innovative South African entrepreneur. I started my small business online not so long ago by registering an online soltuions and service provider. It is still early days and currently in a gradual development phase.

I am looking at bridging two entities to a central space or webspace. This is more or less looking at reducing the retention time for two entities to locate each other and share relevant information. A typical example would be an Online Job Portal where job seekers and employers meet in one common place using cutting edge technologies to bridge the communication gap and provide seamless services. iJobPortal is one of the in-house products developed by this young company filled with young innovative individuals.

Please visit my website to view some of the solutions and services to be rendered by this young company. See website address in my signature.

Looking forward to hearing from you all. I believe this is a start for a bigger future for me and looking forward to be of service to the I.T market.

Any advice, constructive criticism and support is highly appreciated to get me off the ground. Check my signature for the website address or url.

Hello fellow South African... There are now 3 of us on here - as far as i know :-)

I just had a quick look at your site. It opened with a nasty redirect and banner exchange page!?! I'd also say it need a bit of SEO.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your ventures!

    Hi Dalyn,

Thank you so much for the feedback. The banner exchange has been removed, just had that in my mind a while now. It does not give the full impression of the website. Many thanks to you

Search Engine Optimization, that is definately true. The website is gradually under development and feedback like yours is what I need at this stage. I will get to your link that you provided for the optimization.

Sure, give me a shout if you need some advice along the way.

We should discuss online marketing communication, as i think in a South African context; it holds some barriers and challenges to overcome.

Just a touch of advice, I would consider dropping the emphasis on being a "young" company. Many individuals, especially as you get into the professional world, read "young" to mean "inexperienced" or "immature." I think "cutting edge" does the trick, but the young makes me think of a bunch of kids sitting around building a website.

    Hi Jonathan,

A point well taken. I thought at first a young team could express young blood, fresh minds but I guess experience in the industry or market is ideal and way forward to providing a self-assured mentality to all future potential clients. I have made changes to this call and learning day by day.

Many thanks to you guys and Dylan I am more than interested to have a chat regarding online marketing communication in South Africa. I have great ideas then I want to turn into real products and my right mentality and positive approach is really boosting me. I am passionate about my work. I am learning and that is the good part and your fundamental experience is what I need to excel. I have to do my research and all will be worth the count in the end.

Thank you guys. Dylan we can chat using the email service, check my email address in my signature and we can take it from there.

One more advice, Job Portals in South Africa, I believe there is so much work that could be done there and with the availability of current web technologies offered nowadays, it is the time to take advantage and offer great services online. I have conceptualized two products that I will work with next year (in-house development), iJobPortal and iModelSeeker. tell me your thoughts and a little bit of advice...

    Thanks Nelsen,

Watch the space especially the incremental Model Seeker Portal (iModelSeeker) development. It is shaping up quite well that I anticipated.

All the best with your ideas and vision

Many thanks to all of you guys for the feedback and advice. I have made some in-road inprovements to the website regarding the services and solutions the new company will render online. I have attracted quite a number of few people world-wide and caught the eye of top players in the related target market. I am stepping the pace a little bit more and get more people involved in the company's envisioned services and products.

    Thanking you greatly...
