    Website Management Firm

Does anyone have any info about the website management industry? I googled a few different phrases and only found a few companies that offer design maintenance and SEO. I am considering the concept of a company that manages every aspect of a website including:
    -content management and creation
    -marketing, SEO, and advertising
    -image maintenance
    -hosting management
-set up and maintenance of adsense
    -revenue

The firm would charge a monthly retainer fee which will probably be in the $10-$30 range. Then, also charge a price for outside products and services the client needs provided.

I got this idea from a client who came to one of my other companies seeking this type of service, but we currently do not offer it.

    Let me know your thoughts.

I can't imagine how you'd turn a profit on such a low retainer. You have to consider number of hours spent per account and what hourly rate you will need to charge to pay costs (labor, office space, equipment, etc.) and make a profit.

I agree with exgeek - that sounds awfully low. There are hosting services that charge and more that much without any of the services you're suggesting. I think you've got an interesting service idea here and you shouldn't sell yourself short. You might also consider offering hosting for that amount with these add-ons for additional costs.

Yes, I see what you mean. After further consideration, I decided I would need to charge much higher prices.

think about what SEO people charge alone (good ones for full service seo service can be in the 1000s b/c they spend so much time) Sounds like an interesting idea you'd basically run the business for the people sounds like you could do this and make it like a partnership type thing...you pay us this fee we'll set up and run the business for you you can input we take 60% of the money you get 40% of it for doing virtually nothing...am i getting the basic idea of what your trying to do?
