    Web Solutions Business Idea. I need help

    Hey everyone.

    Lately my mind has been all over the place bursting different ideas and innovations. I would appreciate your advise and as much of it as you can give me as Im sure I havent thought this one out to its most potential.

    Im planing on starting a service/solutions to both big companies or smaller ones and even individuals. It`ll be based on online products that extend to deliver the products tailored for the customers needs. Logo Design, Web Design, Hosing+Domains, site management, script installation or a full development of a project/website from scratch. I used to work for a guy before and used to install templates+content or design logos or install simple scripts. He had a lot of contacts and i guess good advertising so he made pretty good money for something that wasnt so hard. Im thinking of assembling a small team of designers and coders including myself of course (I dont want to be the boss who doesnt do anything ) and pay them a commission to each project. Lets say about 60-70% of everything they do. The rest of the money I`ll invest in advertising and covering my costs. Additionally the hosting and domains if the users wish that, I can arrange thru an affiliate and still make a couple of bucks per account ...and Im talking about a HUGE company so the service is 200% stable and very afrodable.
    Now I know getting started is the easiest part.. setting up a website and all that but I need info on how to aquire possible clients, where to advertise, how to advertise. Im sure theres tons of people out there who need such services on daily bases.. even business owners who are not tech savy to design a nice logo or to fill their website with content and such.
    My idea however is not to have direct prices on my website but to tailor the services to the customers needs, not giving them something that they wont use but will pay for .. and getting their money's worth. Also im not sure about this but I might want to help people by fitting the services to their budget. For example they`ll set a budget allowed for the services they want and I`ll let them know what we can do for them..and even end up saving them money but I guess thats a TRUST factor which will have to be developed over time.

    I would appreciate all your advise and feedback and anything you have to say. Thank you in advance, especially if you read the whole post cuz I know I wrote a small book up there .

    Thanx,
    BEDO

    Bedo, hi. It's difficult to give you feedback because your thoughts are unfocused and all over the place.

    What problem do you want your business to be solving?

    thanx for replaying man. I just edited/added to the post. And yes you are right.. its all over the place.. maybe i need to sit down, put it all up on a white board and assemble it together.

    Im not looking to solve a problem but rather to provide a service such as logo design, web design, hosting services, installation of CMS and such scripts(shops..etc) .. you know services down this line.

    ok, good. so here's your diagnosis according to khosla;
    drop this opportunity because you've failed in your problem definition
    define your problem and maybe then there might be a reason for you to start your venture

    oh that you put it this way.. Khosla says "No one will pay you to solve a a problem that doesn't exist" .. but actually the problem is: Customer: I need a web site designed at a good price. Me: I can design a quality website that fits your budget.

    So therefore I guess the problem is that people need a good service at a good price and I provide the solution(s) . I can also use a famous line from Entourage: "What if I told you that I can provide a quality service at a great price, is that something you might be interested in?"
