if you're good at designs & graphics. take a look at CafePress.com You can setup an account for free.. place your designs on virtually anything from tshirts, hats, mugs, posters, just about anything. You can sell them on their site, your own site, or even on ebay.. no inventory to buy, no upfront fees. You make a profit when your stuff sells and they ship it directly to the customer for you. i know of two people who started successful tshirt companies that way, which you could easily do with your startup money.

Congratulations for gettin such an early start, and for not relying on your parent to bankroll it. They should be very proud of you!
