Startup: Event Management Firm

I am interested in starting up an event management firm. Basically what i will be doing is getting regional bands from different states and languages to play in a city where a large community of people are there who follow the same language. Can someone please tell me how i should go about doing it.
Thanks,
therewat

consider a coach

Do you know what personal and business coaching is? A coach is not a technical advisor as to how to do the business, but more about how you get into the business of whatever kind you are seeking to enter. Often there's a lot of questions and things that need to be considered before the business is launched and in fact even before business plan can be put together.

As a life and business Coach I work with people to get very clear about what they want to do, how it will be done, who will be involved, what would be accomplished and make sure that expectations are in line with the potential reality.

One of the greatest problems people face in starting a business and entering a new field is the confusion and uncertainty about whether you're making the right moves at the right time. Having a coach is like having a professional best friend who meet with you on regular basis, helps you identify and resolve problems and hold your feet to the fire so that you produce the results that you have outlined for yourself.

What have you done so far? Have you researched the market yet for what you want to offer? You should do that first. Where will your key states of operation be and what demographics appeal to that? The key to finding a market or need for your idea is to develop it so that people (or your target audience) want or need what you have to offer. So, I would advise that your first stage be research and more research to see if you should advance this idea or start with a new one.
