    Starting my own business...Expenses, taxes,etc.

Hello there. I am starting a new business real soon. It will be a web based business for people selling their homes can list it at. I do not have a worker but I will be working with independent videographers and models who will charge the clients for filming their homes.

    My question:
-Do i have to pay any additional taxes because of the videographers?
-What taxes will i have to pay (being from austin, tx)?
-Are their any other laws that i must follow?

Does any know the answers to these or know where i can find the answers?

    Thanks

IANAL but if you don't have employees AFAIK the easiest way to do things is to declare your income as independent contractor.

BUT.... the easiest thing is to pay someone to handle your taxes for you When you compare headache to price its worth it inho

    thanks.

i had another question. I have been trying to find the answer to this but so far, no luck. If my website is for people to list their homes is there any legal issues about that? I see that sometimes you have to go through an agent, or the site get's a percentage of the sales...Is this right? This is not something that I want to do, I want it to be easy and affordable...

    thanks

What exactly are you trying to do? Are you acting as a real estate agent?

Before launching your business, you should seek the advice of an attorney and/or CPA.

Like jp said you should speak with an attorney. However I would look at other sites doing what you want to do and see the kind of legaleese they speak.

    Hello!

Great idea! A lot of the questions that you ask are going to depend on where you are located, what type of business structure you have and the specifics of how you plan to run your business.

If you can give me some more information I would like to help!
