Your business must come with a good website. The website must reflect on what you are selling, like if you're products are hip and funky clothes, then your site must be colorful and fun. Good website, good marketing!

You dont provide any form of information about your new venture,do you do fashion designing or are you still at school with the idea of going into fashion design ???? If you can expand a little more prehaps people will be able to help you more.

That's a very ambitious goal! I'd recommend reading Bootstrapped! A No Bull Solution for Small Business Success. Any advice I were to give you would be a quote from that book. You can sign up for the blog, blog.bootstrapbusiness.org, and get the whole book free of charge, one section at a time. Hopefully reading it will give you some ideas about starting your clothing line. Best of luck!

Ive learned a lot about fashion from reading non stop books. If you are not going to college for it I recommend a college book call THE DYNAMICS of FASHION great book. All I can tell you about starting a clothing line is it dont happen over night just keep grindin it out bud.

Hey there, the link above is a GREAT link for Tees. No start-up fees, and free shipping to North America.
To start this, Tees are a great start. I currently own a Charity Organization that deals with bands' Merchandise and all that kinda stuff.
Tees are the number one thing bands want, and its simple to design and get to them.
If you have any questions, just let me know!

I established Ergo Tedium Apparel late last year and things have been growing very nicely so far. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions. I can help you with the business planning, where to look for acquiring capital and finding reputable suppliers.

I'm in the process of starting my own line. I have everything in place and we are currently in the design process. We are going to be making selvedge denim, custom new era caps, watches, cut and sew pieces, and more. It's a lot harder than what people think. My advice to you is do a lot of research and build a good team around you. It's a whole lot of work and it costs more that what people might think. But done right, it can be real rewarding.

You'll need a website. But you'd be crazy to pay £39.99 a month. It's just not realistic for a start up. My web firm can do you a fully functioning, great looking custom built online store for $200 initial cost, plus a maintenance fee of $30 a year. It's a hell of a lot cheaper and a much better idea for you, bearing in mind at your level of start up £39.99 is gunna leave a bit hole in your first few months of income. PM me if you want to chat.
