Questions on start up of clothing company

I am looking to start my own clothing company. I am make logo tee's and jeans with my logo.
I want to know what it will cost for the trademark, patent, and any other expenses I may have.
Also if you know any quality clothing distributors with lower prices, can you inform me.
    appreciate it

What makes your clothing co. stand out? Do you have anything fresh, new, and innovative or are you just another clothing company? If you have nothing new and innovative, there is no need for a patent.

Give me some more details and I will be happy to help you find the most inexpensive path to doing this.

What is your logo? You may want to rethink putting it all over your tee's, and pants...what makes people want to wear it? Unless its something ridiculously cool...which most unknown logos are not, I'd advise against it. Go for graphics, or something that will stand out to people. Think about the stuff you buy yourself...sure most of them may have logos, but they are from established companies. Its cool to have a shirt that say Affliction across the front...because they are known. But would you buy a shirt with a brand name or logo across it from a company you've never heard of? Prob not, I wouldn't.

Logos aren't generally something that new clothing makers put all over their clothes...it's more something that the big brands do...but they do it because that's what they are - a brand! You could have the most boring tshirt but stick 'nike' on it and it becomes something worth something...that's not something a startup will be able to achieve!
