Need some ideas..

Hey I'm new here, just joined a few minutes ago because I'm looking to make money while I'm still young. I'm 14 years old and want an effective way of making money. I have been thinking of ideas for a few months now and asking my brothers about it but I don't know what to do. I want to start something that will generate money by its self after I put in the time needed.

I have about $300 I can invest right now. I plan on investing $100 of that in the stock market after I research that a bit, and then investing the profits I get.

It's really late so I can't explain my goal well or even type that well but anyones opinion would be good. I basically have $200 to invest in a company or business. Thanks.

welcome..
well, you can't really "invest $100 in the stock market"
that's not enough to open an account or place effective trades
with $200 you're probably only looking to start some sort of a personal services venture or doing ebay arbitrage

yeah. Stocks is minimum 500, and even there you wont make enough to cover brokerage really.

minimum is 1-2k imo.

also. ebay is good. Do some lawn mowing around the area, get some $$$$

Invest in books to become financially smart with you money, find a good mentor too. Being 14 and willing to risk $300 on a biz venture shows that you've got "guff" just fine tune your skills and learn your lessons from your failures.

I started my 1st business when I was 10 yrs old. I ran a backdoor barber shop out of my parents garage and a $150 investment.

The stock market doesn't work that way. Just cause something seems to be going good one day, could bomb real quick. Even if you had made a profit throughout a month, anything can happen and you could lose all your profit plus your original investment.

Your better off with something else. Plus as everyone else said, you need more than $100 to start a portfolio. I like the idea to invest in books. Read, read, read.

Huh... well I tried profit lance and it had some good info but I didn't have enough time to do all the things involved in it and I didn't really understand it completely, so I got my refund. What sort of books should I read?

My main goal is to make enough money to buy a car by the time I'm 16, and afford to go to business school so I can really learn how to start a business and make money.

By summer I'll have about $500 I can invest. Is that enough to get started? I was actually thinking about a reptile breeding project with leopard geckos which would give me a profit of over $5,000 with only 2 geckos to start with, but it is a lot more work than it seems...

Basically I would like to know the most effective way to spend $200 that will bring money back. I also know some people who are willing to give me large loans of up to $2,000 as long as I can pay them back, so there is another possibility. I'm just trying to get an early start so I can have experience before college. Thanks.

Cool

All people ask the same question and get many replies to their queries, don’t know whether there are really benefited. There are lots of ways to make it going online but if my opinion is to be considered I think that you should make a good research before you indulge in anything. So creating your own video sharing website is a very good idea to earn money. I also made a site couple of months ago with help of omnisoftsol.com. It develops web solutions designed to make you serious profits. His VidsharePro is a video sharing script that not only allows anyone to start a video sharing website, but also allows anyone to sell digital as well as physical products on their video sharing website.

Cheers to your online success!
