Need Help - Building Sales Team

I have a product that can sell itself, and I need a team of salespeople that can hit the streets to sell to businesses only quickly, because it is a competitive industry. The problem, I have no money to pay them. Any suggestions would be great, do they need to be on payroll, have benefits? Or could they just rep my company? What range of commision would be appropriate. These products are environmental effeciency based.

If the product will sell its self then just set it on the corner of your street and it will be gone when you get back.

What is the product?

You might be able to pay them as 1099 contractors if they agree to that arrangement. You pay them and issue them a 1099 then they pay all of the payroll taxes so you don't have to worry about that.

Make sure you have some sort of software to keep track of your business. I like quickbooks.

Thanks for the info on the 1099. The product is lighting, brand new technlogy of lighting. I like QB too and plan to use this one. So the setup would be 1099 any saleperson, no salary, benefits, and they would get paid on commision when sales revenues are realized? So with 1099, no obligation to me other than filling out the forms?
