Need Advice/Help

Good afternoon YE! I just got done with finalizing my business venture! I would like everyone's opinion both positive and negative thoughts. So I have finished all my legal documentation and finally got legal backing on my idea.

I am starting a high end clothing line. The catch is that a % of the profit goes to major charities. Upon purchase of the clothing the customer has the option of choosing the charity to donate to or let our company choose. After selection, a certain artistic stroke will go onto the clothing showing the charitable donation that was made while being fashionable. This concept is much like project red but solely dedicated to charity and fashion. What does everyone think? If anyone has comments or would liek to become involved let me know.

If you let the consumer choose where their donation goes out of any possible nonprofit, you are going to be dealing with donations to thousands of charities, which is going to be extremely difficult and time consuming. You are much better off either picking the charities yourself (and possibily rotating them on a periodic basis) or letting the consumer choose from a limited list of charities.

That is precisely my plan. Thank you. What do you think of the concept?

Concept is good. But its hard to provide any feedback on the feasibility and likely success of the business without much more in-depth information on it. But the concept is good. In fact, I am considering doing something similiar in a different industry in the future, except 100% would be donated to charities.
