    Making Flyers

So I will be starting a telecommunications company, and will be offering some specials. I am usually creative and all, but I kist cant think of a layout for the flyer. Do you guys know where I can go to find some or lead me towards it. What I would need is a place for the photo, then some place for the features and price. I get a lot of faxes with specials on it, which I could use as a way to start, but I havent gotten any recently, a very odd coincidence. So any ideas?

    Thanks

Depending on how many you need printed once they are designed, one of my companies might be able to help. Little Bit of Color does small quantity color printing (25 to 250 sheets) for very reasonable prices. We also have a YE Member special going on that significantly reduces the price even further.

Jleezer, I'm not calling you out...BUT.... starting a company is about designing new and easier ways to provide a service to someone. Now my question, why would someone have something printed with you, when they could go down the street to staples and get color copies as low as 15 cents per page??

Maybe I'm missing something, but didn't you just answer your own question? Isn't getting your flyers printed online easier than having to go to staples? If that's the case then yes, he did make a service easier for the customer.

No, Absolutley not. If Im looking to make copies of something why would I wait (say 4-6) business days for it to arrive? Meanwhile your charging 25% more then staples would.

Yeah, I see what you mean, but people still do it. I actually read a marketing article recently that said studies have shown that people will pay more to buy something online, even if they could just run to Target or whatever and get it for a few bucks less. I guess it's the added convenience of getting it sent directly to your door. I personally prefer going to the store....I'm not a very patient person when it comes to buying things, lol.

I'm seriously curious as to what Staples you're getting your copies made at for only 15 cents per page. I've typically only seen them get down as low as 30-39 cents unless you have a decent couple of some sort.

The Staples is in the same shopping center as my local A&P and I was actually there on saturday. But EITHER way, even if they charged 50 cents per copy. Thats not my point. Your prices still arent "market low"

There is a site called Color Copies 11 cents and less. In by 9 A.M.- out by 5 P.M. Color-Copies-Online.com is a Copy Center offering the lowest price anywhere in the country. If you find a lower price on color copies, we'll beat that price. And there's a difference, inexpe that charges 11 cents or less! Opposed to your whopping 25 cents more.

Again, Im not attacking you. I was just looking for you to explain whats so special about yoru company. I wanna hear your pitch.

I just pulled up a quote from Staples Copy & Print Center Online...they're looking to charge $0.49 per page for color, plus sales tax (another plus for anyone outside of Tennessee). That quote is for 25 pages (total is $12.25). Another quote for 250 pages comes to $122.50 (at $0.49 per page). I'd hope they would do it for less than $0.49 per page, but I'm not able to find it cheaper.

Also, not to be too picky here, but $0.15 is 25% less than $0.20. However, $0.20 is 33% more than $0.15. I think your math might have been a little backwards.

I'm happy to entertain any conversations about my businesses. I don't take even the slightest bit of offense because in the end, if I pay really good attention to what everyone says I'll be able to improve how I operate.

What makes you a better pick then

Ok. I will have to disagree that the site provided as reference by JohnnyBudZ has better pricing at our quantities. For example, if you were to need only 25 copies, color-copies-online.com would cost $0.14 per page (or $3.50) plus their standard $7.00 handling fee (now up to $10.50) plus they do not include shipping at an absolute minimum of $1.50 (and we're up to $12.00 even). Now, when you divide that out on a per page basis, you'll see that they're actual price is $0.48 per page. If you were to place the same order at LittleBitOfColor.com, your order total would be $6.78 (or $0.28 per page). Now, the real kicker is that at color-copies-online.com, you would also need to order an additional $58.00 worth of printing due to their $70.00 minimum order amount.

The price difference per page does drop as we get closer to our maximum order size of 250 prints. However, it is also important to note that color-copies-online.com will print any number of copies of ONE original. On the other hand, we're happy to print 50 copies of one page or 10 copies of a 5 page document or 1 copy of a 50 page document.

So, to be quite honest, I do believe that we are offering a nice service to our customers. And with any order of 75 pages or more, the shipping method is USPS Priority Mail, resulting in 2-3 day turnaround times, which is pretty quick for the prices that we're offering.

I would like to emphasize that I strongly disagree with your statement. To arrive at an accurate statement with what you are saying, a customer would have to order more than our maximum number of pages.

Oh, and I do appreciate the inquiry because I definitely need to sharpen my ability to turn a question such as yours into an opportunity to sell someone on my service. It is an excellent opportunity to develop my pitch; unfortunately I first failed at it by taking it personally (not too personally, but a little) instead of immediately turning you into a customer.
