Hi my name is James and I am currently working as tattoo artist and am a student in the Graphic Design field. I am looking to find people that would like to start up a computer video game development company. I am not looking for start-up money, but rather people that are already doing this for themselves. I have some really good ideas for a massive pc rpg, not an online game. I want to find some small start up company that might let me pitch my ideas. I want to stress that I am not looking for employment, this is an independant idea that I want to see become a reality, and I believe so seriously in it that I want to team with a small business because I know that my idea will sell and would launch the company that makes it. Why the Tatoo artists wants to write a software?
Im coming from software industry and with current economic downturn, you will make much more money from Tattoos than computer games.
It will cost you around $25K-$65K to produce the decent game.

hey faern, good that you have an idea. is it possible that you apply your RPG idea to another platform (i'm thinking iphones and facebooks). the market share is there for you to grab.

but u need a whole set of new skills to tackle these two platforms.

anyone here know how to develop facebook n iphone apps?

Well to tell you the truth, I am not looking to quit tattooing, I am looking for a way to make my idea a reality with a group that wans to make games. I am highly creative and I love art in various formats. I want to create this game because it has been stuck in my head for the better part of 10 years and I see a huge potential for growth. My game would have unlimited potential for expansions and add-ons that could make a small company very famous. I don't want to join a company, I just want to sell my ideas and see them come to fruition. If I were to attempt to put together my own team and create this game I realize it would cost me tens of thousands of dollars, however I am looking for a company that is small but already has the resources to create the game. I appreciate the questions, but I can't see any way to make this game available for the cell phone/smart phone market however it might be able to be made into a facebook application however it wouldn't be able to have the same potential for expansion that my idea has. I am really serious about doing this and I am looking for someone who has the guts and the talent to see this through.
