Looking Into Buying Internet Business - Need Advice

I just became aware of an internet business that is for sale and I have no idea how to tell if this is a good opportunity or not. It is a website selling baby announcements and personalized baby and children clothes. Its an area I would be interested in, but I have no idea how to determine if this is a good business opp for me. Can anyone help? I was also wondering as far as the price of the business goes - does it matter how much revenue the business makes? Thanks

It always matters how much revenue the business makes as opposed to how much expenditure you have on it, but I would say if this is something you have an interest in then go for it. This market is exploding online right now and it is one that is sure to be consistently strong given the nature of the products, so I would certainly give it consideration.

What is also important is to find out how saturated this business has become. Are you going to be competing against many well established businesses?
