Hello! I discovered this forum 5 days ago and I've been reading it since. Very good place.
Anyways I just turned 18 and my interest in entrepreneurship has been steadily growing over the years.
I have come up with many ideas for a business but one of them I think stands out - I want to make and sell
a juice/beverage product that will eventually be commercially sold in grocery stores. Think of the brands
Arizona or Tropicana... only not with oranges or tea.
Right now I do not know much. The fruit can be grown in most southern states (usa) and the plants only
produce fruit once a year. Will I grow my own fruit? Or will I buy it from a supplier and then simply make/package/sell it?
I doubt I could even find a supplier for the fruit, so I will probably have my own “orchard” so to speak. The fruit that I
will make juice out of is easy to grow, fairly unknown by the general public, and tastes great.
What do you guys think? What do I need to do? What sort of legal documentation do I need to certify me
to “industrially” produce juice? How do I get it off the ground and get going? How do I make my product? How do I patent/copyright
it? What would I need to do to get my product on store shelves? And… what would be a good name for a juice beverage company?
Theres so much I don’t know, I would love to hear y'alls input on this. Thankyou!
