    iPhone Apps Money

    Hey there,

I'm looking to start up an iphone app development company. I have the marketing background and the expertise to take my multiple ideas from start to finish by getting sponsors and venture capital.
Unfortunately I lack the programming skills necessary to put my ideas in motion.

I need to know where to hire developers from (freelance bidding websites?), and what skills I would need to search for. What would the average price be per project or per hour? Also what can I expect to be the average development time?

Just go on a freelance bidding site, and type in what you are looking for, they will normally come back to you and say their prices.

if you want to build it as a big company i would recomend finding a programmer in your city that really wants to go out creating their own sites. If you give them say 5% of the company on top of a reduced fee and continue working with this person then it could be better than once of payments unless you only need it set up and you intend on running it from there. People work with a stronger determination when they own some of it and the programmer will work harder and maybe find new innovative ways to help your site.
    Good luck with it

Im seeking a little bit finance for iPhone development. Have currently two software ideas but can generate more. PM if interested. Living in Spain where is low cost for me to produce those and hoped to get something ready for the Barcelona 3G conference but currenty this idea seems to be vanishing because lack of resources to dedicate myself for software development.

its a good business idea, i would not recomend going on freelancing sites, but find a programator near you so you can talk with him your ideas about programs. For the company to be succesful , you should have much more than a couple of programs

I really don't think a iPhone App business is really that feasable. Here read this article that was on Mashable yesterday, you might understand why. I personally believe that the people making the apps are ones that already have other products. But who knows... Anyway this is the link

*Note* couldnt make a link because i don't have the 10 posts yet. haha

great articles...i was reading a few websites about how a few ppl have made a small fortune selling Iphone apps.

There are tons of them out there and some seem completely useless to me. However, it does not mean that there are no opportunities out there.

A solid idea with great marketing is where its all at!
