Imonggo: The New Ipod Like Business Application
Imonggo is a web-based POS that will help you operate your retail business.

The idea of web-based application is not new, neither is the idea of free application; but Imonggo being simple yet usable, practical yet scalable, couple with concept of FREE makes it unique. Up until today, there is no usable FREE Point-Of-Sale system on the web (except for Imonggo. Try it yourself, and let me know if you disagree).

We believe in the power of simplicity. We adore Apple for building Ipod - The simplest MP3 player we have ever seen. Our idea is to build an “Ipod like business application”, keeping everything in its simplest form whenever possible, at the same time, make sure that all the basic necessity of business feature are satisfied. We understood very well that entrepreneurs like things practical and direct, easy yet gets the job done. And that’s the foundation of Imonggo’s design philosophy.

Imonggo is built for retail stores that sells almost anything. Owners will love the instant graphs and reports from hourly-sales to monthly sales. This is the business Intelligence enterprise talks about. Imonggo presents to you simply and easily. The power of Imonggo is even amplified when you use it in chain stores.

We are inviting every retail business owner to try out Imonggo. We will love your comments and feedback.

hmm this looks interesting really interesting
you guys need a postal address in menlo park

ok, some unsolicited "back of the napkin" feedback....you have enormous scope for developing your product...at first i didn't really get what is was, but now i've tried it and it all makes sense to me..i think for your solution to work, it would need to offer integration with bar code readers, payment processing facilities and accounting reports..but then how complicated is that!?.....i think that what you're trying to do is very interesting...but if you develop your product to it's ultimate conclusion (i.e. act on feature requests from customers), its gonna become too complex

i really identify with your ipod philosophy, so if i was doing some sort of web based software package for retailers, i'd do "online quickbooks". it's a proven category, all retailers use it and it's pretty straight forward...but anyway..i can't wait to see you guys progress. awesome effort so far!!! )))

Hello Crackah. We are different from flogd because we are like a "web based cash register with all the functionalities of a back end inventory system. You really need an actual store to use Imonggo. Like the typical mom and pop stores in town.

Hope you can visit my site and sign up. Would appreciate your comments on how to communicate our VALUE to customers.

Our main competitive advantage:
1. We are Free. Basic services are FREE.
2. Real time information for owners (graphs and dashboards) and improved business intelligence. (can track your most profitable hours and log hours, etc.)
3. Easy to use/user friendly
4. Can handle multiple stores and has a head office consolidator.
5. Own your data and downloadable and back up anytime (for Premium account users)
6. Security of data is guaranteed. We are using the SSL technology, a technology used by banks and financial institutions.

Hi Akula. You are right. Integration is very important. Right now, we are compatible with any bar code reader. In the future, we will make it compatible with any accounting software.

The idea of the founder of Imonggo is to make it very simple and easy to use. That is why we are very careful not to add too many "unique" functionalities that will make the system very complex.

We really appreciate your help. Hope you can help us promote the site to your friends in Australia. Keep your comments coming for us to improve the system. Thank you again.
