Have you considered starting your own flea market and swap meet business, buying and selling brand new merchandise, like car stereos, DVDs and CDs, hoodies, binoculars, soaps, etc?

The key is to purchase at the lowest cost possible and sell it for more than it cost you. The difference is profit.

I buy something for a couple dollars and sell it for three times what I pay for it, and I do it several hundred times a day.

I've been doing that for almost 20 years and earn thousands of dollars per month, in cash. No checks, no credit cards, and I put in less than 18 hours per week, only a few hours on weekends. The rest of the week I mess around, do what I want.

If interested, feel free to pm me or click on the link in my sig.

Check my signature for one option. Don't even need close to the $2000 either. :-)

If you know anything about internet marketing and being a webmaster, you may consider buying an already existing website or blog and really working to make it the premier in its niche. If you manage it correctly, $2000 can really go far and your investment could pay off - however, it is certainly not for beginners.

Also, I would advise against forex and trading like that as well. It is a bit risky unless you know the business inside and out - and even then you can never really predict what will happen to the markets.

Well, I would suggest maybe investing that $200 dollars in bank CD's.... Or putting it in a savings account. I mean it doesn't seem you have a business idea/plan...

I recommend you look at what you know a lot about and try to build a business off of it.

for me, i register a domain & webhost, create a blog for only $6.00 / month... then sign up for google adsense..

now im earning around $150 or more / month... i know it's little, but it's better than keeping my money in bank which gives only 0.1% interest per annum
