pfft.. bread.. I don't think many would trust buying bread from someone at their doorstep.

Sell Water, not door to door but at the local park / public places with a lot of traffic. Case of 24 = 5 dollars from the grocery store, sell each bottle for 1 dollar. 19 dollars profit. Same concept can be applied to many things.

The only thing is, as I look at some of these ideas maybe its because I am 18 and a "legal" adult now but, I would think you would need some kind of selling license to resell anything especially in a public place like a park. Maybe it is cute if the kids are raising money for a good cause and not for their own benefit because then I would think they could get into trouble. I could be wrong and if that is the case I will go shave off my peach fuzz and go out and sell water at the park haha.

Hey...

I was around your age when I really got into the idea of working for myself. I'm 18 now and that idea is pretty much the only one I'm stuck with. No matter what I do I want to do it for myself :P. I think the ideas everyone has given you are really good, at that age I basically did odd jobs all year round. Basically any and everything I could do to get paid for. Make a flyer and give prices for what you want done. Like for a car wash, for a mowed lawn, to clean windows, etc... Basically any and everything.

If you have constant connection to the internet you could try making money online. I actually didn't really learn how to do that until not too long ago, but so far it seems to be working out for me. But at the same time I'm about to be workting two jobs in addition to that :P. I mean, you can do anything and just stay dedicated, I'm sure something will turn up. But the more services you offer, the more business you'll get.

As for a paper route, I've never done it, considering I'm from the city. Though, I hear you don't really make too much doing it, not sure how much you're trying to make though. But like I said, if all else fails, might as well spend some of that boredom and freetime making it online :P Good Luck! and Keep It Up!

Take Care...
