yes, im currently a college student. I am a marketing major and I have promoted nightclubs for about a year I think I got the hang of this promo stuff..

So what are your publicity channels for the shops? They will surely throw you questions on how you gonna market their business. What may work for promoting nite clubs may not work for ordinary retails shops...

So probably you could do more research on the marketing strategies...

I have alot of marketing strategies..basically its the same as throwing events...U target the audience of patrons and persuade them to come through by applying guerilla marketing tatics..im not trying to start of working with big name companies..ill start with lil local retail shops..and see how that goes..but I believe marketing is a talent that I got and I believe I am very innovative when it comes to it...plus if I dont land any more clients I could still market for nightclub in the city...im looking for information that I will need to make my business legal and hold me against any liablity issues...any input..questions or concerns is appreciated...thanks

Companies are not going to just want strategy, they are going to want implementation. Have you thought through how you'll implement strategies you'll propose? Do you have much online marketing experience, these days most companies will want some online activity as well as offline and will want a marketing firm to be able to handle that.

If you know what you are doing your marketing will speak for itself if you don't you will fail quickly.
