Got investment money and need some input.

I recently sold a business of mine for $15,000. I paid off the business loan of a little under $5,000 and now i have about $10,000 cash to play with.

First let me start off by saying do not ask me to invest into your company or anything like that because i am not here to do that. I am looking for advice to what to invest this money into.

With $10,000 i could start a business but at this point i am not sure what i want to do. Does anyone have any ideas on quick and high return investment with low risk? Or something that could be made (a business) that would bring in roughly $700 profit a week with $10,000?

I'm sure there are plenty of start-ups that you could invest that money into and bring in $700/wk. I don't know what you're into, or what you like doing. I don't know your location and what types of business would do well there. I would need some more info to make any suggestions.

I'm into cars, photography, and making money. I am from York, PA. Not a huge town and not a small town. We have a city, suburbs, and country. What types of start-ups would produce $700/wk+ with $10,000? examples? I was going to buy into cars and resell but it seems like the car market is taking a downfall. I like to work on ebay but their fees for listing things are so high that i would be paying them way too much money to list things on there if i bought in wholesale. My grandfather has 1000's of contacts in china with product but not sure what the best product would be at this time and not sure what would sell here in the states.

I thought about selling bootleg items because they are always a large profittable item, but the illegal part in selling these items keep me away from doing this.

    Hi,
I really don't know what you are loking for. But a very esay way to start making really good easy money is with a home business, that doesn't take up all of your time. I am in one of those now. You can work as much or as little as you want. Depends on how much money you want to make. But I can tell you that you can have your $700.00 per week start ,in just a matter of weeks. If you really want it. If you would like to know more about what i do , just jot me a note. Good Luck and Take Care.Jewell

I too am from PA, currently running a cleaning company in Lancaster county. We are implementing a strategy to start saving and then investing in oursleves or other venutres of interest. Since hitting these forums my biggest problem is finding local people from PA. As for suggestions of what to do with the money I would say use it toward making more money by investing or starting and selling another business. If you would like to talk sometime send us a message.

All bad suggestions. Look, there is no such thing as "low risk, high return." It's either low risk, low return, or high risk, high return. Without extensive knowledge in how forex markets move or how to value stocks, steer clear. What are you really wanting to do? What are you willing to invest in? What are your expectations? How much risk are you willing to take?

You want to invest $10k and make $700/week in profit? That would be nice, an annual return of 364%. That is not very realistic at all, otherwise everyone would be doing it if it was so easy. Don't think you're going to find a quick and easy thing to do to make that return buddy.

First of all, I don't know such 'legal and legitimate' business that would give such returns. Unless you see a very bargain thing that you could buy and resell, then maybe that's the one. Say for example, I person is going abroad and he wants to just dispose of his almost brand new car at $10,000, but you can actually sell it at $35,000 because of whatever it's market value is. Then if you can see one, then grab it, then you can get your 300%++ ROI you're looking for. But that's one-time 'big time' business - and it's not even a business.

Maybe, looking at investing it in a fast growing company would lead you to a long term profits - though not the immediate $700 a week
