Pats, what type of gaming site are you talking about? I definitely think there is room in the social space (Mafia Wars, Farmville) to make money.

I think he meant sites that have games you can play right through the website that are flash base and hosted or created by other companies (not creating your own game like in the instance of Farmville and such).

It is a very competitive field. For every game, you need to compete with more than 1 millions competitors.

I earned more than $300 / month last year... but it dropped after i stop doing SEO on it.. I checked google.com, and my site appeared on second page for some certain keywords.

I started to resume my SEO last month. Im getting back to where i was in last 2 weeks. For this week, I got like 600 - 800 visitors / day.

Gaming portal website is very competitive. Few months without SEO, and you will land nowhere..

Hard to compete especially with big guys such as ArmorGames, NewGrounds, Kongregate who have more than 1 million visitors / month and are heavily sponsored
