Hey all! I'm very new to this site! So I hope some of you can help me out here!
I work full time during the day; but i want to start a business at night p/t...
I type like 80words a minute (no lie!!) and i really like typing... I want to start some kind of business doing data entry services. I just can't figure it out.

I go to school for small business/ entrepreneurship to try to figure things out -

Does anyone have any ideas? Anything?

First try to think about how to position yourself--data entry for who or what business? Data entry doing what?

Research the competition to see if there is a market for data entry in your area and how your competitors positon themselves. Then think about how you want to set yourself apart from the rest...then start your business plan. Hope this helps...

I have been looking into other companies that have data entry services in the area, but most of them is temp work. I work for a temp agency... i'm just looking to do, really, any type of data entry - hard copy to computer... anything really i'm very open and negotiable to what it is....i just dont/cant do temp work...Im open to businesses or even college students who need papers typed up (although most of them type them up to begin with)
I just dont want to reach a dead end because of how advanced technology is now
I have a friend in one of my classes at school, where she markets herself to companies, and whenever a admin/clerical person calls out she comes in and completes their work for the day....
