Couple different Website business that could use your advice

Hello,
My name is Bob and I am 20 and a senior in college. I have a very ambitious desire to start up my own business. I am very good online selling, researching, and I understand marketing very well. I have sold products on ebay since I was in 8th grade.I know many different people in many different businesses but I can't decide which business is the best to start an online company with. Here are my top 3 choices from favorite to least favorite. I would realy appreciate any advice anyone can give me on how you feel the market and competition is right now.

1. I would start from costume jewelry and as it grows move to Sterling Silver and Gold Products. It would be mostly cheaper gold and jewelry.

2. Start with shower curtains and accessories, draperies, and custom draperies. Eventually I may be able to get into kitchen textiles and tablecloths to go along with the bath and curtains line. I want to stay focused on products like that and grow at a steady pace. I do not want to bring all the products along at the same time.

3. My third idea is warehouse supplies and third party logistics. It would start off being a reseller of labels and printer products. This would not only be a website business it will be an offline busines as well. This means that there will be a lot of telemarketing at first to get the business out there. I will work on low margins just to get the customers and build capital so I can grow my business.

These are some of my ideas and I really appreciate the help!

I wish I could give more insight, but my best advice would be to work with something that excites you when you wake up n the morning.

If costume jewelry and sterling silver are what you are passionate about stick with it.

Good Luck

The truth its not the product that excites me...its the business. Waking up in the morning and seeing sales, and questions in my mail box is what excites me lol.
Thanks

Today you may be excited but how about tommorrow? If you really had the ambitions of starting several companies, my advice is to start with one that interests you most.

Its better if that the business has a short cycle - from the prospecting phase to closing phase to follow up phases. You will learn a lot faster and you can pick up the skills required to run a business in a few short months.

If you ask me which to start with I would start with no 3 because I understand technology and the need to have printer inks and so on. Go for what you are familiar with first!!

All the best
