What specifically about it? In general, there have been a few companies that have made quite a good run with chocolate. I am sure you don't need me to name them...

Are you thinking about a specific business idea or niche dealing with chocolate?
    Cheers

I worked retail in a candy store for over three years and I learned a *lot* about chocolate, especially specialty chocolatiers and their products. Do you have any specific questions? You might be interested to know that some of the most popular and expensive chocolate came from a chocolatier that had a "famous" background - she was Ralph Lauren's personal chef before turning to sweets. It's helpful to be known in such a niche market.

On the other hand, chocolate is so popular that you probably would be able to get some start up business pretty easily and possibly grow from there. Best of luck!

With people consuming more and more each year, from what I see chocolatiers do very well.

You just need to be able to provide your customers a product that a) provides them value and b) is not easily copied.

    What is your target market?

    What competitors do you have?

What sort of prices are you able to offer customers, relative to your competition?

We need to know more about what you're doing/wanting to do.
