Children's Entertainment Services v.myfirstthread

Yup, my first thread here...

A startup idea that has been top on my list is that cartering to children's entertainment....specifically the activity/fun center type places. I know this could encompass alot of ideas, but I wanted to keep the model as simple as possible with a hall of moon bounces or obstacle course....as well as a small room to do a few crafts and party room designated for eating.

Not sure if anyone here is in the business or has any advice, but some questions/concerns are:
  • Start-up obstacles/cost/financing
  • Training required
  • Oppurtunity for revenues on weekdays (taking into consideration that most parties occur on the weekend)
  • Business liabilities and regulations
  • How business is doing in today's economy

ps: hope I did ok for a first post

I'm not in that business, but it sounds like a good idea.

I think it will do well during school vacations, but you might have to find creative ways to use the space for the other months of the year. And market it to the right people.
