Post Business Lead Database website
Hello PPL...I am planning to startup a new website which would provide Business Leads to my end users. I have a collection of around about 1million business leads focusing on Logistics, Mortgage, Health care, Retail, Utilities etc... what do you think will that work?

Hello

I think it will work! however how will you be structuring the website? How are you planning to earn income from it? How much will the website cost to build? How will you market it? etc... I havent got much experience in websites, though my goal is to learn and soon start my own. These however, are some of the basic questions that you must beable to answer before doing anything.

Goodluck Cheers!

For $600 you can have access to 10 million directory listings. What will make your site different then the 100s of other directory sites. Make sure you can answer that before you invest your money into a site and MARKETING... just having a site means nothing... make sure you have a marketing plan and some idea of how you are going to fund your plan.

There are many LARGE very powerful lead providers out there...who on day 1 will be advertising 250% more than you, have testimonials from 1,000 more clients than you, and who will be able to out-service you in a heartbeat. Unfortunately not many of them have a great reputation and their info is often flawed in some way....so I wish that you could/would go ahead with the idea...however...you might make more money selling those leads to people on here. Sometimes you have to play the real card and the odds are stacked heavily against you on this one.

yes you are right for just 600$ you can access those listings. But most of them you will find a piece of scrap...I have all their information like.. The address, Management team, their email address and their personal contact information, revenue information and sales, past history, 5yrs down the line plan everything...i guess sites like hoovers and dnb do not provide much information after paying a huge amount to them

These sound more like Business Contacts rather than Leads. Basically your providing a cold call list in specific industries?
i do work

Maybe you want to consider this
Hi,

Its very difficult to compete with other already establish lead sites. Actually Google is already one. You just need to search the right keywords you see.

I think what you could do is make it EXCLUSIVE. Instead of just a website like AliBaba.com, you do a match for them just like what Match Makers do.

You site should request for them to input what industry they are from and what exactly are they looking for. After which you could provide them a list and contacts to the specific people.

Make sure you cut a deal with the companies that you refer to give you a small portion of their profits if the deal is closed by them. So i guess that's one way to do it.
