    Business Advice Needed

    Hello ALL!
I have an advertisement business idea that I would like to get started with. This is how this business going to operate. I will find 10 small and local businesses (or less) that want to advertise. After I find these businesses, I will advertise for them, by making advertisement of their businesses on the back and the front of t-shirts that will be printed, and will be handed out for free during a high school football game or a city event. One hundred shirts will be given out during an event. So, there is going to be 10 advertisements (or less) on the back and the front of the t-shirts. I'm thinking to charge them around 100 dollar for each local company.

    Input? Thoughts?

Your idea has quite a few problems I can think of. First off, does the $100 include the price of the shirts or that is a separate charge for the business? Also, what kind of information would you be putting on the shirt, if it is just their logo, I don't think that is going to create many conversions for the business. Another problem is you can not go to any business and expect them to want their T-shirts passed out at a football game, unless their business caters to a young crowd. So you need to target the businesses you approach.

I wouldn't like to have the back then ... since people watching the game tend to have their front towards any camera that is present...

And the cost aspect is also quite a problem as already said. I would also be careful about the amount of exposure you can create: will the exposure result in profit for the advertiser?

I think you have a good idea but you need to put in a little more thought and possibly see if anyone else is doing this. It may save you time and money to talk to anyone who has done that type of guerilla advertsing.

I think the main problem is that most people won't actually wear the t-shirts regardless of what you charge to the companies.

It's an interesting idea, but I can't see that you would make a profit. How much is it going to cost you to purchase the tee shirts and then add all the graphics (logos) for 10 companies?

Also, if you're talking about high school sports that's not much exposure. And you would need to target the business for that specific audience. I think it would be difficult to find just the right 10 businesses willing to try this.
