Brain Freeze

I am 21 years old and attend UCF in Orlando Florida. I have been known to come up with creative ideas and going through with them. I own such businesses such as KnightGlo.com, OrlandoFoam.com, and BlackoutParties.com. I started these since I have been a manager at a popular bar in the area and have done well until recently when I quit to get my concentration back into school.

My mind has been racing in circles because I am a big believer in finding out what people need and fill that hole. This is the formula I believe in for success. I know that gas has been a big issue for college students and there has been no help from any institutions to help them save money. I keep going in circles trying to figure out a way to solve this for students in a way that will satisfy every party. I think I could start a business to help myself, students, and even the retailers. Any suggestions from anyone to help me break this mental brain freeze I have going on?

Uh not to sound condescending here or whatever but I'd really like to hear about an idea that benefits both the students AND the gas companies. I don't know. I can see where you're trying to go with it though, are you thinking a special student discount with companies or maybe like a carpool company?

not only college students has a problem regarding gas, everyone does. If students live near their schools, why not just walk or use a mountain bike, its a good exercise too. I do that when I was in college.

Haha well, in his defense, business is often about taking something that someone might want......and marketing it to them in a way that makes them feel like it is something that they NEED.

Cheers

Filling a need doesn't mean literally mean filling "needs" so to speak, but filling a gap where people may have a use for something or get enjoyment out of something, in other words, filling "wants," which can work just as well if not better. It's cool to see someone so young take on this entrepreneurial spirit.
