So recently i have embarked on a journey. This journey has been going well until i hit a road block. Now my business is creating a skateboarding brand; which will mainly sell boards with our designs. Now my big problem is getting the boards made and printed. Where can i get this done? I have searched Google many times and could not find a place. So if anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it.

Ha! I like the brand name. Im sure its fairly simple to find manufacturers, I never knew that a skateboard company could just outsource the board and logo it.. I always figured it would be somewhat like a car where the company needs some innovation and technology to make their product competitive

WHY, OH WHY, would you want to go "cheap" on a first time product?? Doesn't make sense to me. You have no customer base, so when you present your product to the market for the first time, and people discover you've skimped, you will be known to have crappy products. Then 2Heaven, goes 2Hell. You get what you pay for, believe me.

As for finding someone to produce: Let me google that for you

I first got a sample from bunch of companies and personally tested them. I found a good one that was rather cheap for me to buy that would last a good skater a month (thats good) So my sir just because it is cheap dosn't make it bad!

I understand, but how can you support saying cheaper is not good quality? have you tested the products you are referring to? Just because of past experience of bad quality do to cheapness you can't assume every thing is that way? Have you ever considered that maybe the company just has connections and is able to produces the product cheap?

I'm saying you shouldn't cut corners, ESPECIALLY on your first product. 3 posts ago you didn't know where the heck to go for a supplier, now all of a sudden you have 2 boards you've tried and 1 was cheap so you're into it...........................

I know nothing about skateboards, but I know that, from EXPERIENCE, if I buy something for a cheap PRICE- it usually will be of cheap quality. And if I buy a product of cheap quality- I will never buy from the company again. And you bet your bottom dollar, I will tell my friends (I have a real big mouth) and they will tell their friends (they have big mouths too) and so on and so forth.

It really sounds to me like you need to do a lot more research on your vendors and their products. Deck manufacturers are a dime a dozen...don't settle on 1 because of price. Test out 10 or 20 before you even fathom an idea of putting your name on it.
