I love people that hate MLM. Granted there are alot of advertisements that state earn 6-figure income etc. However, we all know that the majority of people wont earn that type of money. Why? not because of your mathematical formulas or the way the compensation plan is set up. It's becuase the majority of people do not want to work for it. They get rejected and they sit on their tail and complain it doesnt work. When working from home they get distracted and forget they have a business to run. So in most cases its not the company that failed, its YOU that failed.

I guess corporate america is a scam or professional athletic leagues are a scam because they only allow the top guys to make the money. wait....because they absolutely deserved it for paying the price.

If you look back there are actually really good products that come out of MLM. Thats how aloe vera was introduced to the market.

I don't know much about EDC gold but I do know that the high ticket items are the way to go...

If sales bring you $1000 plus you have the potential to earn serious cash...

As long as its a great company with a great product that is...

And also as long as you join a great team that will put resources into your success...

hello all:

I believe that a majority of all MLM companies have a great product and I dont believe that just the top reps make all the money - it really truly depends on how much work is put into the business. Most MLM get a bad rep because it is spread by people who were looking for a get rich quick scheme with little effort and they quickly found out that it is a business that actually takes work and even strategy. I have had success and continue to have success in MLM. There are not many business plans or designs out there where you have such a tremendous opportunity to leverage your time in a way that one can multiply yourself a hundredfold simply by teaching duplication and having a turn key system to utilize.

I agree with gregk. People who keep saying that MLM's won't make you any money are just people who failed trying to make money in MLM's, or they're people who have been influenced by others who have failed to make money in MLM's. These are the people who say investing in stocks is bad because they failed in making money in stocks. Or they say to invest in blue chip stocks because their safe.
Keep in mind, many people said that Fanchising was just a scam, but look at it now. Now everyone is trying to franchise a mcdonalds. The same thing is going to happen with MLM's.

I still found using the three level MLM to be most lowest cost Internet Marketing method compared to Search Engine Optimization or PPC. Internet Marketing Center who was pioneering it since 1996 has done pretty good meanwhile when I was struggeling with corrupted bureocrats and "big ego" business consultants.

I also agree with you Gregk. To start an MLM business it only takes a few hundred bucks to invest. So people will treat it as a few hundred bucks. When people invest a few hundred thousand to a few million in a traditional business, people will really treat it as such, and work their butt off to make their investment back.

People will just sign up today and expect a check tomorrow. The truth of the matter is people are freakin lazy. They make all kinds of excuses not to work and build their business and that just slows them down and they never see any return.

But I do believe MLM is the best way to go. I mean those big ticket programs sound good because you make more money with less sales, but think for a moment how many people are willing to pay for something they just might not even use.

For example, I checked out EDCGold and I am not going to bash them, I think they have something going, but I really don't think that many will be willing to pay so much for some software that they may never use and even if they do they will only use like 4 out of the hundreds of software they give.

I think that most Health MLMs have great quality products and something that people need everyday to improve their quality of life.

Anyway MLM is growing and will continue to grow.

While I understand that their are companies out their that are scams those companies should not be linked to the many reputable companies out their.

Network Marketing in itself is a very reputable and growing business. However with any business venture you do need to do your research on certain things such as the strength and age of the company, the consumability and quality of the products the company makes, and how solid the compensation plan is.

As far as the pyramid "scheme" I think it was called, the pyramid is the strongest foundation that you can build. In corporate america if you draw out the diagram of the levels of employee posistions you will see a CEO at the top with presidents under him, vice-presidents under them, manager under them, and employees at the bottom. If I am not mistaken when this is drawn out it takes the form of a pyramid.

And yes the people at the top of a pyramid make more money than the people at the top. In Corporate America the CEO makes plenty more than the regular employees. At least with network marketing every individual has the same oppurtunity to make the same amount of money. Just like most legitimate businesses the amount of money you make is still in direct proportion to how much effort you put into building your business.

Smile An intrigued new entrepreneur!

Hello everyone. I am a newbie on here. I just joined a company and started my business from home. I am doing my best to stay optimistic and keep my chin up about everything. I do believe in the company I'm with and I do believe in myself. Does it always take a while to start an online business off? I don't mind putting in the time or effort but it would be nice to see at least one person join in my business under me. At least that way it would give me fresh hope. Any words of wisdom from experienced entrepreneurs or anybody?
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I agree with robfagan. There are many good, legitimate companies out there selling good products. Some are selling products that are demonstrably better than what you get at Walmart or Costco...I mean, is it worth getting a discount if the multivitamin you buy doesn't actually break down and get absorbed into your body?
