Dont say spam .. dont say scam .. dont say people at the top ..

    I want facts .. truths ..

Because believe it or not .. EVERYTHING in this world is network marketing and you just dont realize it

I totally agree with you. I am olso invoved in MLM and in two companies and I love it. And i most say it is not a pyramid and you can make more than your upline if you want to and a lot of people do not even realize that,
most jobs are set up as a pyramid, but they just like to jump on mlm and say it is, and some people have never even been in it. Like for example, my mother -in- law owns a daycare center and she is at the top (picture a pyramid in your mind) then there is her kids who are administrators, next is teachers who get a certain amount of pay and nothing else, next assistant teachers who get less, then cook who get less then ass teachers and so on. But the point is no one in that organization gets more or can get more money than my mother-in-law because she owns the School and she is also the director. So you see what I'm saying most jobs are pyramids but people never see it like that. There is owner, managers, supervisors, workers and even sometimes the cleaning people get less than the regular workers, but depending where you are on the pyramid that is as much as you can make and as far as you can go.

So almost all jobs are set up as a PYRAMID, look into it.
But MLM you get promoted over short period of time if you work the system, there is always a level to earn more. But not with a regular job unless you the BOSS.

Smile How to choose the right network company and products for you and your family?

It is true that there are mountains of network companies making tons of fraud promises!! However, one should be clear and rational to analysis a company like when you buy stock. The "why" of joining a network marketing company is ulmost important that hook you with what the company can help you to get what you want. So, Company Background is very important as it will tell you how strong and cash rich the company is. Products leading or pyramid-headcount leading? Are products in high quality standard and unique in market? Any third party international recognised scientific-proof? Compensation is fair or not will also affect those who go in early or late resulted in unfair and lazy situations. Is that the compensation plan a seamless and generous for everyone? What are the markets they have opened and where they will open must also put into consideration since it is your business expansion areas. Are the markets big enough for your fellowers to develop? The last but not least, the company culture should come first of everything as this is the mission and far sight for not only the company but also you and your offsprings to carry out in order to get the real residual income from the real global markets!!
Nowadays, consumers are so smart that they want to get the best products in premium ingredients at reasonable price. They are not willing to pay for the "middle-man" fee and the expensive advertising fee. Legitimate and honest network marketing company can provide WIN-WIN-WIN situations that help the consumers to get the best and safe products at reasonable price, in return the distruibutors get what they deserve by servicing the customers in different aspects.
So I think not only the potential distributors should study the company and products, but also the consumers should understand more about the company and products so as to feel comfortable and confidence on what they are buying.

are you kidding me, You need to choose the right ones, and there are only a few out there. I am with one that pays a net %65 which is amazing. Personally I've had success with it and the guy above me makes $500,000 alone from it.
People forget that MLM is a business and at the begginning you can not just sit on the couch an watch football. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of horrible mlms out there that have given mlmls a bad name to begin with, but mine has been around for 22 years, and has made many many millionaires.

IMO, MLM is better if you have good social network and free time to devote for it. If you are doing it part time with your job you may not be successful except some cases those who can manage it well.

Man it boils down to this, Network marketing is the business of the twentyfirst century. More people are entering network marketing than ever before. Why? Because it offers everyone an equal chance at wealth and success at freedom and security.

Yes, network marketing or multi-level marketing as it’s also
called, once had a rather shaded reputation. No longer. Like the franchises
of the fifties McDonalds, for example, network marketing
has suffered through a painful growing period. And like McDonalds
and other franchises, network marketing companies have come out
the other side looking very attractive to profit seeking entrepreneurs.

The big difference between a franchise like McDonalds or
Kentucky Fried Chicken and network marketing companies, however,
is that you can get into network marketing with just a few hundred
dollars or less. To buy a franchise, however, you need thousands in some cases hundreds of thousands.

The fact is most people fail in network marketing. There are a
number of reasons for this. One of the biggest reasons is that people
simply do not know how to recruit people and sell product.

The fact is most people fail in network marketing. There are a
number of reasons for this. One of the biggest reasons is that people
simply do not know how to recruit people and sell product.

After they’ve run through their warm market (their friends, family
or people they know fairly well) they have no one else to call on.
    Or, so they think.

So what it all boils down to is that most people do not know how
to market. They probably have lots of skills and ambition. They may
have everything else it takes to succeed. However, they do not know
how to recruit people and sell product. And without that ability and
that knowledge you will fail at network marketing.

Why is MLM Hated so Much?

Because people are generally lazy, and the lazy people get into MLM's because they can, because the start-up costs are affordable, and they have dreams of making millions in a short period of time. I remember in high school when people said I worked too hard studying, well 20 years later the proof is undeniable, my income is 6 figures (has been for 15 years) and where are the people that told me I worked too hard now. These are the people that give MLM a bad rap because when the going gets tough they get out and to make themselves feel good they tell others that it doesn't work, (they forget to mention that they didn't work) As soon as people get out of their comfort zone 1 of 2 things happen they either quit or they grow.

I treat MLM like a university education, it will not happen overnight it will take 4-5 years to get good. I came into the business knowing a few people in my comfort zone after I approached them now what do I do? I either grow or quit, I chose grow! After your first exam in university if you fail, do you go home and accept the first JOB you can get or do you learn from your mistakes and change your startegy.

When choosing an MLM company you have to do some research not all companies are created equally, just like any business plan is never created equally. There is a location in my city that has had I would say 20 odd businesses in this plaza over the last 10 years, it is a favourite game of mine with my wife to see how long each business will last because the location is brutal, people are deceived it is a high traffic area but people can not access the plaza easily so they just drive by, I feel so bad for these business owners (entrepeneurs) because the plaza owner takes their rent and waits till they go bankrupt and then kicks them out, if they would only take the time to investigate they would save themselves heartache and a lot of money. Same goes for MLM it takes time and effort to ivestigate if it a good company and most people aren't willing to do that.

Why do I love MLM, because I love working with people that have vision but may not have all the cards in their favour at this moment, but if they are willing to take responsiblity for their actions and are not afraid to try new things they can change the direction of their life and the lives of their next generation in a matter of a few years, about the time it would take to get a university education without the costs.

I have aligned myself with a company that will help the lazy and the motivated, my only hope is the lazy ones stay in long enough to win a significant prize so that they can go tell others and then I will find my true business builders.

I have learned never to close your mind EVERY business needs sales so if you are anti-MLM get over it, it is not going away, learn from some of the MLM'ers you come across there are some ingenious people in the field who may be able to help you in your venture.

Hey agelforums, great topic and to me MLM is great, especially those who are attached to great companies. It's a great compensation plan that everyone one earns equally. The No.1 company that makes / creates the most millionaires in the world is Microsoft. The one that comes after Microsoft is Nuskin Enterprises a worlds leading direct selling company. Now if MLM is so bad then Nuskin wouldn't be creating so many millionaires. People who usually hate MLM is people who either have not really seen a damn good business opportunity in MLM, never seen a damn good compensation plan and someone who just quits real easily. I've been in an online photo sharing MLM business for only 2 months and I'm already making more than a CEO is making and I don't even need to sell any products. I just share photos online and give a free website for ppl to share their photos too. And guess what? As an options trader, I'm earning more doing MLM than trading options. Well thats all I have to say... The mind conquers all!

I saw a couple posts back about how stating one made you the entrepreneur, and I have to say thats true.

In the California Gold rush the millionaire wasn't the guy getting the gold.
It was the guy selling the shovels to the guys looking for the gold who became rich.

    That is innovation.

I hate it because I am not a people person. And actually you could also call me an introvert.
And what does MLM do? It takes me in front of those hundreds of people and wants me to build a friendship so that later on I can try and get them into this business.
Just not my kind of thing.

30days, you'll be surprised at how most mlm'ers are introverts, including myself. I just let the friendships/relationships develop on their own. Eventually they will ask what you do. Now I do just fine, considering I used to hate mlm about 6 yrs ago.

I'm assuming you like to do 100% of your business online since you say you're not a "people person"
