Actually I am reading this and I am convincing my self........

Oh I know what it is..... My IQ is really high and I am a entrepreneur not a peon. I see all this people thinking they will make it big while they are making me a lot of money!

    Here would be the cost:
    Hosting + Developemnt of site = $0
Search Engine Optimization Marketing + Traffic Build = $0
    10 believers at 1st level = $0

    Profit = $99.99 per month.
    10 x 4 = 40 and 40 x 4.97 = $198.80

    $198.80 + 99.99 = 278.99 p/m

Now lets multiply this by 1000... I am making some much money.

Yes is look nice in numbers. And the person that makes money is the person who really invent this. Thank you, I will build a few MLM my self.

Who's going out of business Enrique? There are companies that are not legitimate or they just aren't good at getting their company off the ground. However, there are many legitimate MLM companies that have been around for years and will not go away. Many of them are publicly traded and even Warren Buffet owns at least one MLM company called Pampered Chef.

Did you know that there are a lot more businesses that fail than MLM businesses? Check the stats. These aren't my opinions. Go talk to people. 95% of all businesses fail within the first 5 years. I didn't make that up. Probably the same is true for wealth builders...only 5% make it to the top. If you hang out with people who aren't successful in MLM, chances are you won't be successful. I don't hang out with people who can't stick with our company for at least a year or those who don't want to work. That's what 95% of the population does no matter what industry they're in.

What's up with this legal documents forum anyway? Find a network marketing company that has something unique to offer. These companies are designed for people to build a big business without having to invest tens of thousands of dollars. Most people don't have that kind of money to spend. Most people don't have money to pay for high overhead costs. The funny thing is, many doctors, lawyers and other successful business people such as real estate agents have learned that MLM is a very viable option to high overhead businesses. I've been in real estate and mortgage for over 10 years now and people I know in that industry have not grown their income one bit. I work less than them and make more than them in both that industry and in MLM.

Enrique...I'm sure you're a smart guy...just do yourself a favor...really get to know MLM before you bash our industry. Just listen to 15 Years Left and pick up those books I listed: "The World is Flat" and "No Time." If you learn how to build properly, I assure you'll be successful in MLM and can earn huge profits. If you do it the way most people do...you will end up in the 95% just like anything else. Even real estate agents quit by the masses...because most of them aren't making big bucks. You want to know the secret about how some people make big bucks and some don't? It's simple...most people don't stay the course...and most aren't willing to pay the price and do what it takes to make the big bucks.

BTW...in my past experiences...people that hate MLM so much...they keep digging and then find out it's actually something they should do...end up being the most loyal reps and possibly the most successful. Why? Because once someone with a negative perception of MLM crosses over...they're never going back!

I don't hate MLM's. I been there, and done it. I just know that the guy that makes real money is the that invents a MLM.

Now here is a smart thought. Since you know well the MLM, and I know all the online marketing, and the development. Why we don't make our brains work together and we build a MLM?

    Huge profit.... don't you think?

No thank you. I'd rather be an independent distributor than to start my own MLM. The independent distributor route provides me with time and financial freedom. Owning and running the MLM company itself does not exemplify freedom. If you want to...go for it. All I know is that there is someone in my MLM company earning a seven figure income...and that's all I need to know...because if someone is earning that kind of money...others can too. I'm in his organization and he just authored a book called "Beach Money." Maybe you should pick up a copy...LOL!

Enrique, here's some more resources for you:

www.FirstClassMLM.com (the US Government says MLM is legal!)
MLM  Watchdog: Index /MLM IS A+!  SCAMS BAD MLM Consumer Protection  Network Marketing news - MLM Detectives (there is good and bad)
MLM Lawyer Jeff Babener presents MLM Legal, a resource of multi-level marketing law issues and direct sales law library. (he is an attorney for the MLM industry)

If you check out First Class MLM...there's a section there for Anti-MLM too.

Anyone who is involved in MLM...stay strong people! MLM is here to stay...just make sure you're with a legitimate company and are building your business ethically. If your product or service helps people and does not cause them harm...you'll be okay. Get the right training, find a mentor, and/or join a first class organization. Surround yourself with people who do know what they're talking about. Those that build MLM using hype and deceitful tactics won't last very long. However, there are those of us who are ethical, who represent a company that is ethical, and who have done our research and paid the price. We will be around for the long haul and there isn't anything anybody can do to stop us!

Many people fail in MLM because they lack the proper training. If your organization doesn't offer the proper training, you should seek outside help. There are many programs that train MLMers how to build their business. Make sure you find one that is credible and has lots of success testimonials. If you haven't found the right company or leadership...keep looking! There are lots of great MLM companies and leaders that are willing to help you succeed.

I have been to one of Mway meeting in a nice hotel and talked to few reps(normal people).
One thing you will notice that, when they introduce themselves, they will never say like I am Mr. X from MWAY. Doesn't this itself tells what a shaddy thing it is? If it so great, what's wrong in telling the name of company?

It's a case by case scenario...it's not everyone in the MLM industry that acts that way. We don't even use hotel meetings because they don't work. Many of the trainers we use are people who have earned over $300,000 a month in this industry and they have all taught us to stay away from hotel meetings. A true network marketer will prospect and recruit without hotels because a true networker does not have to sell hype. True networkers will tell the truth about their company and have nothing to hide. We don't teach our organization to sell hype...we simply show more prospects what we have to offer...we also train our reps rejection free methods to prospect...and we don't recruit just anyone. Not everyone is cut out to be in MLM. Most tried and failed and have no clue that they're doing the business all wrong!

Here's another thought, I actually tell people that I'm in MLM when I first approach them. I cut to the chase and have actually gotten people to laugh about that. They're so amazed that I'd tell them such a thing that they give me the time of day to explain why I chose the MLM model instead of a traditional job or business.

I'd be embarrassed to be in any other profession. As my mentor has taught me...companies should keep their salaries, pensions, and Fords. I'd rather buy my own dream car and control my own destiny than to wake up in a mindless treck every week dealing with traffic.

Here are some numbers I got from an industry leader named Tim Sales:
Where people lost money in 2001
    Pyramid Schemes: $54,000,000.00 ($54 Million)
    Lottery: $42,090,312,000.00 (Over $42 Billion)
    Gambling: $1,100,000,000,000.00 (Over $1 Trillion)
Stocks: $9,300,000,000,000.00 (Over $9 Trillion)...the stock brokers and fund managers make money regardless if you lose!

Check it out for yourself. And by the way...the health industry is raking in record profits and churning out medicine that don't even do much for our society except keep us coming back for more. These drugs are designed for our population to keep coming back...they make more profits taking $1 a day for the rest of your life then to cure your illness or disease for a 1 time fee of $100. I think it was Chris Rock that mentioned America is the biggest drug dealer in the world!

Most people quit MLM even when they earn $400 a month because they think that isn't worth much. $400 a month is an equivalent of a $120,000 cash asset in a money market account that pays you 4% APR. The only difference is that MLM is not an account where you stick $120,000 into an account to let your money go to work for you. It's a direct selling business that you can build from home...part time or whatever you choose...that will allow you to generate such amounts that are equivalent to huge amounts of cash you'd have to invest in a money market account just to get the same monthly income. Folks, if you think a home business that generates $400 a month in your spare time is worthless...think again! If any banker or stock broker can offer you an income of $400 a month without having to invest $100,000 or more...why wouldn't you take on the opportunity? Oh by the way, what if your stock broker invested your six figure asset into companies like Enron and Worldcomm? Hmm...I guess our grand old stock market is a safe bet but MLM's are somehow something everyone should stay away from even though the risk is far less when you read this paragraph again.

Hey...don't take my word for it...listen to David Bach's CD "Start Smart and Finish Rich." Throwing away $400 a month could cost you millions when you retire on $800/month in SSI...that's if you receive any. Believing that MLM is a scam is old school...that's 1970's thinking. Many people have become wealthy using this business model...in fact, many successful MLMers are the ones who spend time at their children's school, they have time to attend every PTA meeting and volunteer while other parents can't even spend a few days (or even 1 day) at school with their children.

Also, did you know that it's starting to become mainstream where in any upscale neighborhood...you can find a big banana from MLM in which they are the only one in the neighborhood that has a house bigger than a neurosurgeon's and attorney's house?

The more you doubt legitimate MLM opportunities...the more you're shooting yourself in the foot. Get some facts at www.FirstClassMLM.com.

I worked for corporate America for over 7 years selling jewelry and diamonds. The ceo made more money than anyone, and when the company was doing poorly the ceo gave herself a 5 million dollar raise!!
we on the other hand got no raises and less benefits!

The Beauty of Network Marketing is that no matter who you are you are rewarded for how hard you work! If you come upon an opportunity and you are passionate about it and you work hard, you can make as much as anyone else in your networking business. An employee in the corporate world can work as hard as they want, but at the end of the day they don't make any more and their BOSS tells them what they are worth.

Not everyone is suited for Network marketing just as not everyone can be a dentist or a teacher. The great thing about "good" MLM companies is that they make the process as easy as they can for more people, so more can have success.

I have tried many MLM companies and there are some very good ones out their. I am even now involved with one that I believe will be the best company I have ever joined, see my signature if your interested.

BUT I did not need to join I am a Real Estate investor and own Jewelry design company with a trade marked jewelry design series, and with this business I will be able help others around me that don't have quite as much motivation as me to set up their own financial freedom. And that is what true a true Entrepreneur is about. Helping others to have the same success that they have, because what goes around comes around.

    That's my thoughts anyways,

    Ryan

The reason they are so hated is because most of them are centered on getting IBO's - distributors , but not customers. Which customers are the ones that make money for a company comman sense, not a bunch of IBOS sending money through the downline.

Why Is Mlm Hated By Most .... Because Most Fail .... Simple

    Interesting subject,

Having researched thousands of businesses, MLM and traditional, one think remains consistent, most people fail in their own business, and for good reason, they are all sold a false bill of goods, like the get rich quick claim so many use to induce new distributors. So you are correct, most focus on recruiting over selling their service or product.

When researching companies, very few in the MLM arena sell a service or product of true verifiable value. This is why MLMers fail, unless you are a super salesperson, or super recruiter, you will not even break even from your monthly autoship cost which most MLM's require in order to earn commisisons.
This is why most fail, if they don't see what they were hyped into believing when they started in three months, they quit, and often never look at MLM again. We all know in the industry, quitters never win, and winners never quit, and most people never learn this before they go into any business.

If anyone goes into any business thinking they are going to make a profit in first year, think again, it won't happen for 99% of those in any business, even MLM. Yes, we all hear about the big earners, and there are many in this world who have made six figures plus in MLM, but I bet most on this board never met one. lol Most in the trenched promoting off of someone elses dream income will never see it themselves for they are selling the dream, or in some cases, the scheme.

It all starts with the service or product, if you cannot verify sales being made outside of distributors, then run, don't walk away. If you are looking for a long term business, MLM or not, then look at the value of your product first and foremost. Without value, there is no business. Without retail sales, there is no business, it is that simple. Like in all businesses, some will come, some will go, but only those with true value will survive long term. I don't care what kind of incomes you here, or how goof the compensation plans are, it still all comes back to value. Don't waste your time unless this passes the acid test of value to retail customers.

    Good luck to all, Mike
