    Usana

Hey everyone, you may know me from the,
"There seems to be a huge bias here," thread. Well, there still seems to be one, but I don't want to post this in that thread because I think it would sound like I'm trying to recruit you, and I said I woulden't. I just wanted you guys to see what a difference a legit MLM can make in peoples lives.

So, I was searching the RDPD fourms and came across a thread entitled USANA. It was someone asking about USANA, my company. The response was great, and notice, this is just people, that have actually tried it, sharing their experience with a great MLM. Here is just one response

I've been with USANA for 4 years. Prior to that i had been in only one other company (amway).
There is absolutely no comparison. In 2 years and 2 months from the time we got started my wife and I were able to walk away from our jobs and live on our USANA income at a much higher standard of living than we had imagined in such a short period of time. This was possible through: personal development (which started by following the outline of Nightingale-Conant products included in the original "Business School book by R.K.), Usana's awesome compensation plan, 'products you can trust', and understanding that success in networking is a process not only about the company but the #1 product "YOU". With USANA you've got the #1 product line in the Nutritional Supplement industry according to several sources least of all "The Comparative Guide to Nutrional Supplements", the #1 comp plan and company 7 years in a row "MLM Insider Magazine", #9 top growth company in the USA in 2004 Business Week a top 20 small growth company in 2004 according to Forbes, among the top 100 performers on NASDAQ the past 3 years, and on and on...

That's just one persons opinion, so if you want more, just check out the thread.

That you can make money with these, and that people need to open their minds and look past the pyramid scheme stereotypes. I just wanted to show that there are legit MLM opportunities out there.

What will all of this accomplish? You are evangelizing MLM to us, I don't get what your reasoning and purpose is.

you haven't given us actual people. you've given us statistics, which I don't question. I'm sure USANA rakes in the cash from all the people it's gotten to join it's "family". That doesn't mean it's members are retiring at 30 or have any clue whatsoever how to build a business from the ground up.

Send a link to Usana or whatever it is - I want to read it and take a look. A friend of mine is getting involved in an MLM and he's pretty serious about it and has a lot of high hopes and so I need to be sensitive to that, so I'll practice having an open mind on you...lets see it.

Current business mood = Forget maximizing profit per item, move inventory ASAP, order more, repeat.
