I have been thinking of a project for quite a while now, in its basic form the motorway service stations are a shambles here in the UK the quality of the food is poor the prices are extortionate the physical appearance is run down and dated. That is the problem. My idea is to create a network of restaurants/cafe's through out these service stations that do fast, affective and healthy food both take away and sit in as an alternative to a Burger King or MacDonald’s that has been there for an age and is in need of modernization. Almost all the service stations are owned by the department for transport and let on 50-year leases to private operating companies. I have never tackled a project like this before and don’t really now were to start, does any one have any experience in any projects like this or any advice? Look forward to hearing some opinions.
