TV/film Production Company in motion

I'm Executive Producing a television program launching nationally this year.

I'm looking to produce some films and perhaps theater stuff as well. My company is Foot in Mouth, Inc. and its aim is to produce high-quality, low-budget projects with meaning. I've been focusing so much on my show and funding that, I'm really not sure where to begin building the other parts of the company...

Any thoughts? Any screenplays out there wanting consideration? New York City here. NYCmainah@aol.com

I have a friend who finished writing an epic crime-family saga. It's a the rise and demise of a Russian crime family that is a splinter cell of the Russian Mafia, and how its feud with a branch of the Yakuza in the USA caused this demise... I read parts of the script, and it's truly a wonderful piece of work... not like hollywood Mafia shooters!!

Thanks Yasser,

I have written several screenplays and dramatic television episodes. Here's a general synopsis of my work, none of which has been produced yet.

"Ahab" (Formerly "Sydney Harbour")
Drama
Estimated at 2 - 2.5 hours in length
Lucio Brandt of Interpol investigates the Kirkivich crime family, led by Grekh Kirkivich and his two sons Lin and Rospopov (Ross). Unsettled scores between the Kirkivich family and the rival Tsukada Yakuza lead to the destruction fo both families and the tainting of their once great legacies.

"Forbidden: Pilot Episode"
Drama
Estimated at 50 minutes in length
The most powerful families in Las Vegas have been at war for years. For the two that this series focuses on, the only way to win in Vegas is to beat the other house. Using the law, money and violence to their advantage, they attempt to overtake each other. In the meantime, their teenage children are madly in love and we all know what classic literature holds as true for them.

"A Man Named Lucky"
Comedy
Estimated at 1.5 hours in length
Lucky is in his mid-twenties and is the most UNlucky man on earth. Everything goes wrong for him until he meets the beautiful and resilient Chelsea. His life miraculously turns around but he's now faced with repairing the first 24 years of his life.

"The Estate"
Horror
Estimated at 1.5 - 2 hours in length
A 30 year old couple moves into a massive mansion, complete with the grounds to match, for a ridiculously low price. A hermit with unusual habits also lives on the property, much to the couple's dismay. The hermit is found dead and unusual events take place. At night there is a low, heart-like throbbing beneath the estate. Everyone knows that everything with a pulse must feed.

I'm currently working on others and hopefully someone will offer to produce these. I'm only 16 and I have much to learn about screenwriting, but those who have read any of these are quite enthused about the possibility of seeing it in theatres some day.
