Today's free business idea

OK, this timem I want more people to contribute. Not just to say what wouldn't work or why it hasn't been done... (actually, can we find out if it's been done? ) Everyone add one new aspect to the idea, or else you're not allowed to criticize the people who posted before you =) this should make it interesting. After all, this place is a kind of think tank, no?

OK.. here's the idea... and yes I know most of my ideas seem to stem around media

Someone can start a company that does short takes for ad concepts for other ad companies...

example..

XYZ marketing of Jabib has 2 concepts for their new client MicroManagement Flunkies, Inc.

The new TV spot would be so much easier to get across if they had a "rough draft" to show their client for the concept meeting.

So many ad companies just don't have a budget to do things liek this for every ad, thus outsourcing it would be a great tool. Something in the ballpark of $1000-$5000. Couple of Sony high quality camcorders, simple mixing board, screening room and studio is what you would need. Some mics and a few other things - and then the biggie... 5 or 6 interns from directing/production/editing school =)

First thing's first... you get your flunky staff to produce spots for you first. "garage spots" that show that even though you're working very low budget, you can get the ideas across that these larger companies want to show their clients and in a very short amount of time.

Things that can be done in a half day to 2 or 3 days tops.

OK.. have at em people.
