As for Agloco, the current owners are trying to find a buyer for the service. Expenses (excluding staff) total about $10,000 per month now. Anyone interested in putting together a consortium to purchase the service?

Interesting,

Given AGLOCO was a major failure, why would anyone else want to pick it up and run with it? With internet advertising feeling the impact of U.S. recession, and even Google stock tanking, why would anyone want to get into the internet ad arena at this time?

I have been involved with Google Adsense and Adwords since start and have done well over the years, but I earn half of what I did in 2005 and revenues continue to drop so I am always researching alternatives, as I did when AGLOCO came about. I was in Alladvantage and it was making money, but as with everything, timing is critical, and this time around, AGLOCO entered a crowded market, and quite frankly, the tool bar concept is a dinosaur in concepts.

Look at PayPerPlay for the latest in audio ad bites, this is unique, and certainly more cost effective medium, plus it can be focussed locally to street level, now this is unique. Take-The-Internet-Back.com is another that started at same time as AGLOCO, so I didn't think it had a chance to start with, and I feel bad so many are still hanging onto hope it will survive if bought out by others.

Good luck, Mike
