    pay for leads?

    Hello,
Does anyone pay for leads? If so, do you have a good success rate for the real time leads? Also, does anyone use an appointment setting service? How is that going for you?
    Thanks,
    Vishenda

    Lightbulb Depends...

Hello there..I am a distributor of Emerald Passport I tried using leads at first...I felt like it was a waste of time...I find it depends on which company you buy from. I find alot of leads to be de-sensitized..The only leads I got a good return on were from Lead Factory..they actually call and confirm the lead before you receive it then any leads that say no to your offer you return them to the company and they will again call them and offer your products again...it sounds pushy but they are very knowledgable on most businesses that use leads and they have a 50% (or higher) rate of prospects that will say yes the second time...pretty cool idea....

its lead factory..ray allen is the head honcho...

No, I've never done this, and also wonder about the success of it myself. It sounds so great, but it's such a large investment (for a good amount of leads) that I'm very hesitant to jump.

divinemind, I think I understand what you're saying, but I want to be sure: Lead Factory sells you the leads, and you call the folks. If any of them are unsuccessful, you tell Lead Factory, and then they call the leads and try again for you. Is this correct?

NOT WORTH IT...I have used one in the past and a company I work for on the side uses one. It is absolutly no different the using the YellowPages website directory or a Phonebook for that matter. Totally not worth the money...generally its quite expensive too. I got screwed $6000 for an American leads list in that did nothing more me but give me a migraine

I'm in a business and get offered leads almost daily. The problem for me is I'm fairly new to the business and need to get an accurate calculation of leads to conversions. The leads I'm offered cost quite a lot.

I suppose the upside might be if I ever want to sell leads I've got an idea of what I the market rate is

    $6000?!... that's gotta hurt...

I've heard about pay per lead PPL programs, and that there are people I know that switched to it from using Adsense. I'm curious as to the effects of this. anyone have a hunch?

You can always make your own capture page and make your own leads.

Thats illegal use if you actually read the terms and agreements. In my case anyways.
