    Opportunity In China

Okay everyone, I just sat through a three hour business dinner, and much to my dismay, the majority of the conversation dealt with politics... However, upon hearing talk about China and its current economic advancement, i got to thinkin that there will be a serious market in construction and real estate in the next couple of years to decade, especially if they ever drop their communist status... think about it... Shang hai has implemented plans and have begun to develop an entire cityscape of skyscrapers... resulting in 70% of the worlds cranes to head over there... as of right now, there is an unlimited amount of labor available to the chinese government for next to nothing in wages... the result being that there are going to be hundreds of new jobs available inside these buildings, thousands of construction opportunities in the future, and an even greater opportunity lying in the real estate business... that is if their government were ever to change... keep your eyes on this country for the future.....

Also a huge market in Africa for housing developments. Imagine how many houses they could put in..... all they would need to do is change their economy.

very true, if you look at it, it simply boils down to population density of an area and degree of development... imagine if many of the third world countries were given an economic boost by those countries that could afford to lend a hand... business opportunities would soar!

I think I forgot to type /sarcasm somewhere in there.

Basing a possible investment opportunity on the possible change in government policy is ridiculous.

who said anything about investing? I simply implied we should keep an eye on it... many of the greatest business opportunities come to those who are predicting the market and are therefore ahead of the game... im not suggesting you start investing millions in a company that might never be needed...

yeah, nice insight. Thanks for stating the obvious, not to be a d*ck, but no sh*t Mr. Holmes. If only we could get insider information on the fact that China will never become a democracy only a shadow of one and when the right/wrong dictator comes say good-bye to your investment.

Thats short sighted. Governments encourage economic development, not try to steal it away.

BTW, just because China is communist doesn't mean there's no opportunity for real estate - or any other business venture for that matter.

Well they are sure not to drop communism any time soon in China I dont think.
But even so, it is a great time to start or locate a company in China.

Congratulations! I think that's a world record for wost punctuation, grammar and the the worlds longest run-on sentence. You need to take advantage of your own opportunity, and try some college yourself.

While we are bashing everyone, worst is spelt "worst" not "wost" . Maybe a typing class in college would help?
Back to topic, I think this is a wonderful opportunity. Now the obstacle of how much does real estate cost in china, and how do you buy real estate in china? BizGambit your idea might not be to far fechted, believe me I wish I would of done the louisana purchase. Glad to join these forums.

It sounds like a possible market, but even if things do change it will take serious preparation.
