This forum is dead now that all that seems to be on it is spam. I'd suggest a bit of a clean up deleting these idiots from the forum, or you will lose your genuine bloggers like me and many others. Your choice.

I think we should have a "Special Offers" forum so that all kinds of advertising are put there instead of ruining the rest of the forum.
good idea, but to stop the rot they should clean up the junk.

ill stick to working on my forum notalot of memebers but no spam lol

I think IP blocking should be used. What really gets to me are the stupid-assed spammers who think they aren't spammers. They must be stopped, or there definitely will be a mass exodus of users. So I could not agree with you more, ebonybailey.
Let's just say I've been hitting new report bad post a lot now.
But I think we need to start banning people
Yea stealthy, we actually have spammers here that believe they have
the right to post their crap here.
I prefer the one post spammers.

Believe me, so do I! I've got one on my case now for no apparent reason - and he or she has been sending harassing pms to me too. I'm just not sure where these people get off thinking they could do this....I'm glad it's not just me who thinks this way though!Originally Posted by davep
And yes, I think banning would be very effective.
The problem is that this section of the forum is for "business opportunities". Unfortunately there is a grey zone that exists between the obvious spam and the legitimate business opportunites.
But, I absolutely agree that there has been a lot of VERY OBVIOUS spam in this and the other sections of this forum.
If they post it once, then that is fine,
But these guys keep posting and posting.
Then they are getting smart now, they are putting the spam
in question form. (Yeah we know what your trying to do)
Then they move from one scam to another. I for one really do not
care about having to sort through these.
I am concerned that someone here WILL get scammed out of their
hard earned money.

Shit like this needs to be deleted as soon as it appears:

Don't the moderators read the forums?
Yeah, I guess the main problem I have is with new people posting one (or multiple) threads in the Business Opportunities section without participating in the forum. Or, they participate, but it's constantly (and only) in the other seedy threads, as with the two examples Deejay posted above.
I guess what puzzles me is the reason why people spam - hopefully, folks aren't clicking on the stuff, so what reward is there for the spammer, besides the psychological satisfaction of making others' lives miserable?
I've responded to most of your reports. Just report the spam and the moderators will delete it as soon as they go online.
Thanks......
What about the two links I posted?Originally Posted by Bestmiler
