New! Very Promising Niche Idea Looking For Partners For Further Development.

While surfing the net last week I had a new idea come into my head and after doing some research it was just what I had thought...There is currently nothing like this on the market and I will bet that it wouldnt be long before there is which is why I decided to jump right in and go with it.

The domains have already been purchased and the scripts are being installed over the next week and some promotion has already begun. I have also started the trademarking process for the name I will be using. I have done an enormous amount of research on this just over the past week and have also set up distribution channels. I am looking for one or two people who would be interested in getting this idea going for a slice of the pie. I will need someone who has experience with creating and implementing scripts and web development as well as someone who is experienced with magazine layout and graphic design.

Here is a my idea without giving away the niche:

There will be a small network of websites that will be created to feed the main project which is an offline magazine. I have researched this fairly well and as far as I can tell there is not a magazine such as this available at this time.

The two websites themselves are somewhat unique and have a tremendous profit potential without even including the magazine but the mag puts the icing on the cake so to speak...it is the hook. The magazines content will be derived from these websites and I can almost assure you that visitors will be knocking down the door to submit an article because of all the free promotion they will receive as well as a chance to be paid if their submitted article is printed as a feature in one of 5 sections.

The first issue of the magazine, somewhere between 200 and 500 copies will be a 24 page 4 color bi-monthly publication for now and will be distributed at no cost through the websites as well as other distribution channels that distribute free publications. This magazine itself will derive its profits from ad sales. Advertisers will not be hard to find because of the magazines topic and content and I can also offer ads to some of my current clients who are always looking for ways to get there message out.

As some of you may know I own an offline/online marketing company which I can also use to assist in promoting this venture. My company does not have the type of personel I need for this and we cannot budget in more employees at this time which is why I am offering a percentage instead of hiring who I need to develop this.

I am not looking to acquire funding although if someone was wanting to invest financially as well contributing there expertise something may be able to be worked out. Serious inquiries only as this venture is proceeding rapidly and will take place regardless although it would be on a smaller scale.

    Thanks
    Joe

I wish you the best of luck. I've also got an online/offline magazine venture going and people have hardly been knocking down the door to get their stuff featured. It's a rough biz. Hopefully your other business has you situated in a position to pay for printing and submissions whereas I've found myself trying to push a thus far non existent product to potential but so far skeptical advertisers.

Sure, my magazine is regional. It's geared towards Japanese automotive enthusiasts and covers the local Dallas-Fort Worth tuner scene and relevant subcultures (asian pop culture, music, film, art, gaming, etc). It's also going to be 4-color printing and doesn't carry a cover price. It'll be freely distributed at local businesses. It was supposed to be out NOW but funds weren't there so it's being revamped for online as I type this. But I'm still working on getting it in print soon.

Sounds interesting and I hope you do well. I really dont think I will have any problems with having articles submitted but even if they are not submitted the website itself will gather enough content for the mag. The magazine has no competition as there is not another magazine availble that covers this particular topic and once it is out there im sure others will follow.

Once the scripts are in place and everything is working correctly I will be launching the websites this should be no later than the end of the month. Right now everything is a go...If need be I will hire someone to do a layout. I need a script developer because I have features I would like to add that are not available with the scripts I will be using...these are not neccassary features but would give the site more content.

Sounds a great idea you have on your hands. I don't mean to be too skeptical but if theres no magazine in that particular field already, you might want to think why there aren't. Is it as simple as nobody has thought of it yet?

I'd love to know your magazine theme but obviously you don't want to give anything away yet. I wish you all the best with it, you seem to have enough enthusiam and belief in the idea for it to work.
