Low start up cost projects

Hi, if you havent seen my introduction im 15 years old and trying to get into the world of buissiness early, and hopefully never have to work for anyone accept myself. However i do not know where to start.

I dont know what the entrepeneurial world is like with respect to sharing ideas and collaborating, but does anyone have any ideas of next to nothing start up projects. Really, at this stage in my life, i do not want to invest anymore than £200 (roughly $400) in any one project.

Or even things that may havbe worked for you in the past, or in other countries (i live in England) that may have the potential to be popular over here. It would be a great help, thanks.

i have money, i just am not sure if i want to put all my eggs in one basket so to speak at this time. I have an idea with practically no start up costs, but i dont know how successful it will be. If i can get the domain name that will start tommorrow, and hopefully that will generate some money for future projects

Slevin, I really really recommend you simply learn. Go to the library and pick up a book on marketing and then another book on entrepreneurship and venture creation. I also recommend you pick up a book on supply chain management because a lot of IT ideas will take that into account (I'm probably one of the few that would suggest a book on supply chain management, but I've been helped by reading such).

After you know marketing, there is less uncertainty as to if an idea with work or flop. You know how you can advertise it and get responses and you can guage whether or not that resonse will bring in the necessary gains to offset the costs. Once you've read up on venture creation, you may begin to see the big picture. You'll know which aspects you don't know and which ones you do (if any). Take this and find out what you need to research/learn.

Supply chain management will allow you to more readily/easily compete with many online companies that have inefficient supply and distributorship. This especially includes eBay.

I don't know... I'm just throwing ideas out there, but you must learn. Once you learn how things work, the ideas will come and the opportunities will be more apparent.

I don't recommend using your money for anything else. Though failure is not complete loss, it does have its costs. Before jumping into entrepreneurship, you want to start thinking big or else you'll get stuck in the realm of mediocre entrepreneurship which won't take you very far. You can't think big until you can see the big picture which most effectively comes from and starts with picking up and reading a few books.

I'm also 15 and live in the UK. I have recently started www.techno-fest.tk to try and generate some money through advertising.
Maybe we could help each-other out with hints and stuff.
