Well you can go to the local book store and buy the small business opportunities book to start. That will give you more options. They have thousands of business opportunities that will peak your interests. My business concepts are very simple. Low investment high return ventures. Most of my businesses are sports relates any ways. What are your interests. What do you like to do. Passion = success to a certain extent, you just have to realize and understand all rules and regulations that govern that.

Interesting,
Low investment, yes, that is what I research and evaluate knowing that most people looking to get into their own business rarely have more than two sticks to rub together. Sad as that is, most are living paycheck to paycheck, so it is understandable most are looking for low investment advice.
Low cost is free to me, and then you can apply what you avoided paying for dealerships, distributorships or business opportunities, demo products, etc., and then you can apply these funds to your advertising efforts. Some of my most successful distributors started with nothing, so I know it works.
The last thing a newbie business owner needs is the pressure of just trying to recoup their investment. There are many free opportunities on the market, you just have to look a little harder for them. My most profitable ventures have been the ones which ential the least amount of start up costs, most under $100.00 which seems to be the threshold for most people who are looking for low cost business ideas. Keep looking, they are out their. Google Free Distributorships as example, that is where I get most of my new distributors.
Good luck to all, Mike

I really think the food cart idea is interesting.
That's something that isn't really seen around here. Not a lot of money, and not a lot of hours, and I could easily see hiring hourly people down the line.
I'm going to look into this one a bit more.

The business I am in all you have to do is buy a bottle of vitamins which cost 20 dollars each month or any other of the products in this business. There is one product that is really booming right now called enRgy that controlls your appetite and helps you lose weight. My mother has been taking this for about 2 1/2 weeks and has lost fourteen pounds.
Email me for more information about this. It is building really fast.

Under $4k to start onsite digital interactive advertising biz
For under $4k (incl. freight) you can buy one of our digital touch screen advertising kiosks and be in the advertising business in your town.
You won't get rich on one machine, but it could bring in $750 to $1000 a month income pretty quickly. And if you finance the machine and get your payments under $150 a month, you can see a very good positive cash flow, not to mention a great return on investment.
Make one machine profitable, buy another. Make it profitable, buy 2 more. Etc., Etc.
A guy I will probably be selling some kiosks to has been in guide-book/brochure type advertising business for several years. Over the past four years he has converted all of his print brochure racks into digital kiosk displays. He confided his numbers to me:
44 kiosks X an average of 59 advertisers on each kiosk X an average of $33 per month per advertiser.
Do the math!
(don't bother... I already did the math -- $85,668 per month gross revenue to be precise!)
Ain't rocket science, but it also ain't get rich quick. It's a business you must build, like most other successful businesses are. And of course, not everyone is going to have the success this gent had. Still, the opportunities are out there.

we used to have a vending machine route and we did alright. We made a profit but nothing to get excited over. I saw that you didn't want to work crappy jobs anymore, but you have to think about cleaning up junk and selling hot dogs...how long are you really going to want to do that yourself? I'm suggesting that you really think hard about what you want to do and what you want to achieve so you're not doing something that's making you miserable. Find something you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life

Anything can be done on no budget, you just need to do more leg work and grease work. Low budget advertising ideas include voice blasting, Joint ventureships, and local guerilla marketing.
