Maybe you figure out a way to help people sell their stuff on ebay and you can keep part of the commission?

Okay now... EBAY!
What is the deal with the prices there?
I was looking at MP3 and MP4 players. What I saw has scared me away from selling there. Well, I wasn't planning to sell there anyway, due to the saturation of the market.
But MP4 players for ONE DOLLAR? I know competition is fierce, but surely no-one is going to sell these items at a loss, and a huge one at that? Some of these items obviously gouge out their profit in "postage" costs, but others had very low postage prices.
And I know some of them are probably crappy quality. But not all.
So, what's the deal here?

Adult Video Clips for mobiles. Current technology allows already 10-20 minute 3GP clips, mobile operator billing is secure and convinient without any risks like credit cards in internet. Producing a clip will cost around $600-$2K depending the quality and actors.

its about christmas time and i was thinking how nice it would be to have someone do my christmas shopping for me. You could easiley and without much hastle start a business running peoples errands for them. Advertise yourself as a personal assistant. I know that my wife and I are really busy. We would love to have someone do our grocery shopping, pick up the dry cleaning, take the movies back to Blockbuster, etc. I don't like to do the little things. There is value in time. Sell that idea and you could make some serious money just running around town for people. Once you become successful. Hire some college students or high school students to work for you. Spend that money you have on advertising. I don't know what you could charge but people would pay for those services.

Here's one, put up flyers at your local colleges, post it on Facebook, Myspace, Ebay etc that you will save college students time by typing up papers for them and charge them a reasonable fee. Make sure you can type quickly to be efficient!
Another one - I used to live in South America and the leather jackets were very inexpensive. Set up a business importing them to the US and sell them here. There were tons of products there that would be great to import to the US, another was Yerba Mate. I could buy it in Paraguay for less than 50 cents per kilo, here it is about $9
I love those ideas like laundry for college students mentioned earlier. Great ideas! Lots of people like students who are short on time are willing to pay for services like that

garretriley.com
Hey I just started a new website to promote myself and earn a little bit of income as a college student. Well I am using adsense and I want to know if anyone has any really simple ideas on how I can earn more and get more traffice which in the end will equal more earnings. I have pretty much earned nothing yet and I want to get more clicks... any ideas. Please let me know. Or if you would like to by all means just take a look at my site and click if you would like. Thanks for any help.

Hello,
I saw hot dog carts mentioned a couple times in this post. I did some research and found some interesting information. I wanted to know if anybody has or know someone that has invested or owns a hot dog cart. Were they successful? What was required to get started. I looked up what is needed in New Jersey and found a number that I will call tomorrow to, which hopefully will provide me with some answers.
I am not looking to do this full time but I have a house at the jersey shore and I know that during the summer there are no hot dogs carts around, especially at night outside the bars. Even though the boardwalk is there, they are mostly dominated by expensive pizza shops, funnel cake shops, ice cream stores and restaurants, I figure it is something to look into, and at least I just learn some new information. Any information anyone can provide is helpful. Thank you and have a nice night.
