Looking For Partner To Help Start/Operate Website

So, I have posted this idea on the site before, and I never really did anything with it. What I am looking to do is build a site where users can create profiles, and then the users can form teams. Once these members are in teams, I would like the users to be able to upload videos and pictures, showing them completing certain tasks for points. It will have a list of the tasks, and then they will all link to the videos and pictures of people completing them. This idea is kind of hard to explain, but I can try if you are interested.

What I am looking for in a partner is someone who preferrably is skilled in web design, or coding.

Or anyone have any other ideas that may make this successful? I figure that I would be able to make a little from advertising and maybe competitions would get sponsored.. I don't know... just throwing some ideas out there.

I don't think he is paying them. I think you would be doing this for an equity stake in the company.

Yes, this is correct. As my partner, you would have an equity stake.

Sorry but I dont think your idea will get very far. Idea's alone, dont make it very far. A lot of the time the person with the actuall skill or the one who will be doing all the work will quit a week later if starting at all. I've personally experienced this, not myself, but I've seen friends with great idea's looking for people with the talent to create it into reality, and usually all the person wants is money.

Let me understand this...the people would be meeting up outside the web and completing these tasks. What would these tasks be?

I had a similar idea but it was a scavenger hunt in everyday life, and there would be a list of items you would have to find and then once you found something throughout your normal day life you would take a picture of it with your phone and whomever completed the list first would win. Just an idea

Yeah... That is pretty much what it would be.... I am actually leaning more towards this option now that I have though about things..

How would you make money off of this? Would you consider this kind of like a hobby website, when people are bored they can check your site out and work with others?

Sorry, I just don't understand what service, product, or in general what you will be providing the public with this idea.

If you are behind the idea and have a strong feeling that it will work, then by all means continue ahead with it. Good Luck

Money would most likely be made through advertising revenue.

Yes, this would just be a hobby site that people can come to when they are bored, join a scavenger hunt, and have a little fun. It could also have forums and maybe a community or something like that..

i think its a pretty good idea and i would love to help however I have no web design experience, i do have a growing web network that could help you market the site??? I am interested and would possibly be willing to help you pay for it
