My name is Scott and I just signed up here. I am currently working as a powertong operator here on the oil and gas rigs here in Alberta. If you dont know what that is, well we basically thread the casing together that is used to extract the oil and gas from the ground. Power tongs are like 1000lb. hydraulic wrenches. They are carried on the back of a 1 ton truck and are run off the PTO of a truck through hydraulics. Its a great job if u dont mind the hours. Anyways, I currently work on a percentage of tickets or jobs completed. The percentage is 30% which is free of any expenses related to the work or truck. I work for a company out of central Alberta, my wifes uncle owns it. So what I am looking for is to get someone who can supply me with a new truck to run the tongs. With my own truck my percentage jumps from 30 to 60 percent. If someone is interested in supplying the truck, I will pay them 10% of total tickets, pick up the lease or financing payment, pay for all fuel and insurance. Total tickets usually are around 15000 to 40000 a month. There are no costs to you. Thanks all. Look forward to replies.
