you guys know how there are forums that do not let you put referral ids? well i had someone ask me if i could set up a masking system for him where his links, http://www.affsiteblahblah.com/?ref=123 would look like http://www.aff.com/qwe. the second url would just refer people back to the first but forum bots would not see them. i did not like the idea becuase refid being banned is for the sake of less spam. i though automatically that he just wanted to spam people. but at any rate i though that the script might have some use to some honest folks out there. what do you guys think? should i create a tool for this?

what you are trying to do is done by the website/service tinyurl.com, it is very marketable and protects affiliate links.
