hey guys and girls
ive got an idea of holding a car show. because were i live theres heaps of people right into their cars but i was wondering if anyone new what kinds of things i need to get approved and stuff like that. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Putting a show together can be quite tough. First, you will have to find a suitable location. Second, you will have to check with your city/state to file for any necessary permits/licenses.
If you have any food you will also have to check with the health department. If you have tents, you will have to check with your local fire marshall.

The biggest advice that I can give, is to take your time. Do not rush. Little things pop up and will drive you nuts. Try partnering with others in your area that have sponsored shows. They will have a better understanding of what permits and licenses will be needed.

If you are serious about organising this event you will need to give yourself about 8 months to organise it. You need to figure out ( don't guess) how many people will be attending, how many staff you will need to manage the event area, you will need a security contractor, procedures in place if there are accidents/injuries. You will need to inform the local authorities and the police. Car parking will need to be arranged. And thats all before the actual event pieces themselves. Can I ask what country you are from?
